They take great care of my old kitty that has kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. He's on kidney food and meds for his hyperthyroidism and is doing great. One time on a Saturday my husband and I both gave our kitty his meds 15 minutes a part. I called the vet and Sarah his normal vet wasn't working but they assured me he would be ok and to monitor him for any odd behavior.
At Alpine Animal Hospital, we believe that wellness care is the key to ensure your pet lives a long, healthy and happy life. Wellness care encompasses many things - from regular physical examinations, immunizations, and parasite prevention, to diet and exercise, dental health, periodic laboratory screening, and geriatric management.
If you find that you need emergency assistance, we recommend Seattle Veterinary Specialists (Kirkland WA) and Blue Pearl Pet Hospital (Renton WA). In the event you have to visit the emergency clinic we can get the records so we can follow up if your pet needs further care. Many normal household items can cause serious or fatal health risks when ingested by our pets.

Worst vet I have ever experienced. By far. My 16 y/o daughter bought her first puppy and called around to find a vet (on her own) to have the first vaccinations. She asked about price and the gal told her that it would be between $150-$200 for the first visit. I called and asked some questions and made sure they could call me for payment and I verified that was the price range. She took her puppy in and the bill was over $350. I paid it. Then they said that she needed to bring the pup in for the follow up booster shots. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED the gal if she needed me to put my CC on file for the

Update: I wish I could write multiple reviews. I cannot express how much I LOVE this team. I had to say goodbye to my little girl 6 months ago and after we said goodbye and she was gone, I had left her with a blanket. These beautiful angels SAVED THE BLANKET FOR SIX MONTHS and returned it to me today when I brought in my other little girl (For an exam, she is doing great!). I am crying, like... UGLY CRYING. There is no other veterinary team like these people. They seriously care so much. I know when I bring my dogs in, they are loved and cared for and everything is going to be okay. Thanks for

I had to get my dogs their second round of shots
The staff I met were nice and helpful.
Answered my questions on my dogs those stinking crazy things.
The shots went well and the so did the rest of the check up.
The place was clean and well lite.
I like how they got us in on time and let me take both at the same time even tho appointments were only half hour apart.

The receptionists and vet tech where very nice and made me feel better about my poor kitty being in distress because she hates car rides. It was covid so I couldn't go in with my pet and just talked to the Vet over the phone. She was very rude and curt. She also tried to sell me a bunch of things unrelated to the issue at hand. Won't be back.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value
We have been visiting from out of town and it looked like my Argo had an infection. I am so glad they were able to get him in on short notice. The professionalism and thoroughness was impeccable. I would feel confident and safe bringing my fur baby in again.

I've taken my three successive cats there for over 30 years. My cats always get great Doctors. They were very compassionate while putting my last two cats to sleep and sent sympathy cards. They were very good at testing for problems as the cats became seniors and also counseling me on what to do to help reduce their aging symptoms. I recommend them.

Unsure about what the experience was like pre-COVID, but judging from other reviews it wasn't any better. You sit in the parking lot and call them to let them know you are there, someone comes to take your pet, then they run whatever tests and procedures they can in order to increase their profit, then you get a call from the vet telling you what they did, finally you get a bill with how much each of those procedures you did not consent to cost.
There are vets that care about animals that will allow you to be there for at least a part of the examination and explain to you what they need

While I'm grateful we had a place to turn to on a Sunday, the experience overall was unpleasant enough to deter me from ever returning. In retrospect, I wish I had driven a bit further away to a different hospital/vet to help our senior cat with her UTI. We waited for 3.5 hours in our car as they examined her and I was quoted a very specific price for various tests. It was high, but I agreed. The charge ended up being almost $160 more than I was quoted. I was told that the doctor would be in touch the next day to provide test results and medication for my struggling cat. No phone call, so

I took my elderly dog into Alpine for a dental cleaning and extractions. I was extremely nervous due to his age about going him under anesthesia. I had researched vets and decided to go to Alpine. I'm SO glad that I did! I had Dr. Conaway and she was AMAZING!! She is very positive, calm, empathetic, and gives a LOT of information to the customer so we can make an informed decision. I'm a teacher so I love getting all the information I can. She was very thorough and genuinely made me feel comfortable with my elderly dog going under anesthesia and having his multiple extractions. Whatever do - do not take your animal here. My cat had crystals in his urethra and was in extreme pain. In a rush to get him better, I took him here instead of driving up the highway to where my amazing vet recommended (I was panicked). They kept him overnight - after speaking to several incredible vets around Issaquah, he did not need to be kept overnight. I was told that this hospital is notorious for milking as much money as possible out of people in their time of need - and one of their top tactics is stressing the "need" for an overnight.

Terrible experience. This past Sunday, we decided to take our 18 year old kitty to this vet because it open and it was close to our house. Our kitty is hyper thyroid and has IBS. She was throwing up and had bloody diarrhea so we didn't want to wait until Monday to take her to her regular vet. When we got there we "greeted" by a receptionist who is less than friendly..we were taken back to the exam room and we told the vet tech why we were bringing my kitty in...the tech left and when the Vet came in she proceeded to tell us what she knew about our kitty but she didn't have the

If I could give zero I would. While alpine does provide a needed emergency service, their front line staff seem to be out of touch with the gravity of what is being done here. My old chihuahua was dying, my vet sent us to alpine.... my old girl was unable to be saved and when I went to pick up her remains they handed me while smiling and giggling, a ribboned and bowed party bag with my girls ashes. I went outside and cried . I think they are a absolutely for big profit organization that does a service needed in the community.

I have some sadness every time I come here as we laid my baby to rest about 6 years ago here. So it was particularly rough when I had to come at 2am in a panic because my cat was having difficulty breathing.
It's a great option to have this relatively close to home for emergencies. I only wish they had a bit more bed side manner and rather than continuously try to up sell unnecessary services, they should just focus on making you feel at ease.
Every time I have come here the bill has been astronomical! The emergency bill over night for a check up is about $150, which is fine. But then

Don't bring your beloved pet here, they seem to be all about profit. I don't know how the vet care actually is since we were left in the waiting room, alone, for hours and didn't see a vet. After 30 minutes without seeing another person, I called out to see if anyone was still around. A snotty tech came out from the back and told us that the procedure we needed would be about $140 and that we were welcome to go to another er if we didn't like it there.
So we will.
So we will.

I love this hospital - friendly staff and great service. I highly recommend this for new puppy owners. Tip: request DR. HOANG! She is very sweet and great with dogs. I would have given them 5 stars but....

I paid for their puppy plan (amazing btw - covers shots, extra appts, neutering and the whole works at about $75/month for one year). Upon my last covered appointment under

I dropped off a Dog tonight at the shelter and had a great experience. The staff were really nice and helpful even though I was so excited My heart was vibrating at a high-frequency because I was able to help out a animal in need. I found the Dog in Renton and he looked lost and he wouldn't leave my sight. He looked wet and he seemed hungry so I gave it some bread I just bought from whole foods Grocery store. He had a tag but no phone number. I found this place because a police officer recommended that I call some of the 24 hour shelters so I can get it some help if needed.

Have always had a positive experience with Alpine Staff. Dr. Hoang is who we normally see for our dachshund and she is great! He has had a few problems as he ages (13 yrs old now) and she has always gone over the options with us without naming us feeling pressured.
The front staff is always super friendly and love to come from behind the counter to ask if they can give my dog some love, which is always a big yes from him!
We recently got another dachshund who is 10 weeks old and will be bringing him in to see Dr. Huang soon.

We adopted a young berner and a couple weeks in he started having some digestive issues. Being the helicopter dog mom I never knew I would be, I freaked. Called Alpine at 1 a.m. and, after explaining what was happening, was assured I did not need to rush him in. They made me an appointment for later that day at a normal hour.
We saw Dr. Webb who was so great with our big guy. She made him feel comfortable and at ease. She answered all my questions and explained the range of possibilities. I could not be more grateful. Don't hesitate to bring your animals here. Also, their hours

The staff here is amazing.
After a horrid experience at another local vet, we came here. We're ever appreciative of the care our dog received and the compassion they showed us.
This may not be a small 'local' vet clinic, but the staff here cares. That's a lot more than I can say about some of the others in Issaquah.
Check my reviews if you want to know a vet office to avoid.

I was a regular with this clinic but after the past couple of experiences I have zero intentions of returning. One night, I had found a stray dog and took her to VCA. the vet had said that I either had to pay for surgery or leave her there. And I was forced to leave her there, before I left, I had asked the vet if I could see the poor girl before I left. And all she told me was no. I felt so disrespected because while I understand that it was not my pet, I didn't want to just leave her there. I understand that it might have been a busy night in the ER but that doesn't mean that this wasn
