Nestled along the famous Appalachian Mountains our all full hook-up sites allow you the peace and serenity of a woodland scene. As one of Berks County's little secrets, we are a private, family-owned, (233) site campground. We are proud to announce that we are celebrating our 37th YEAR of operation this 2021 Season. Prior to ownership, we were a camping family for many years and are well versed on the needs of camping families in this ever-changing industry.

Matt at the front gate was amazing! We had an assigned site which I feel makes much more sense. With having a larger unit we have had issues with smaller campers taking up the bigger sites that often are the only we can fit into. Hope Thousand Trails continues with this policy. Entire staff was wonderful actually. Better prices than at most of the camp store. There was lots of activities on Friday and Saturday. Only real complaint was the smell. Not sure if there was sewer/septic issues but every so often there was an awful raw sewage smell throughout the entire campground.

It's a nice campground, Very peaceful, The bathrooms were closed which was kind of a thumbs down for people without an RV. I know we have this Covid thing going on but to not have a working bathroom or somewhere to shower could be a deal breaker for some, I camped with friends with an RV so it wasn't an issue this time but I wouldn't go back unless they opened a restroom and had a place to take a hot shower....

Terrible experience, and i bet he responds to this post and says I must have the wrong place and to get my facts straight, and believe me I have facts. He lied to us about the site we would get. He built more sites than he can supply adequate power too, then blames it on the power company. The power company doesn't have the equipment or supply going to him that he needs for all those sites, and he said their grid hasn't been updated since 1969 and thats probably true, but he keeps adding more sites knowing the supply is not there then renting sites to people anyway. And im not even scratching the

Experience: tent camped since a kid had to finally upgrade to a trailer, due to health conditions.
Signed for a seasonal site late in the 2019 season. As the site I was taking had just been vacated; the owner, of the park, wanted to fix up the site before we used it. The park owner arranged for us to set up on a temporary site until our site was completed.
The temporary site was clean, well maintained, and had full hookups. The park has a general downward slope, but not so much that you would need more than your trailers normal tongue jack height, to level out.

This place is horrible!! If you have electric it will be low voltage, the owner says when it gets hot you should just open your windows and there won't be a problem, even though you pay for electric. If you plan on having a relaxing day at the pool, you are wrong! They have no posted rules for the pool and come up with different ones on every visit! Also, their is no space at all between campers and more than likely your neighbors sewer pipe will be right in front of your door! This place sucks!!! I've stayed all over the U.S. and it's one of the worst!

Nice quiet place. Spacious sites, full hookups, great rates. Has pool with concessions, mini golf, arcade, inside movies with popcorn, small store, restaurant, walking trails, playground, bathhouse, cable, and plenty of road to ride your bike. Allows gas powered golf carts. Owner is great along with other workers and full-timers. I have no complaints. Love it here!

Wish zero stars was an option! We've had low voltage since we got here 3 days ago. We can't even run our A/C. So far, nothing has been done about it. I'll update when and if something is done. Was first told by someone in the office that the electric company limits the amount of electricity when temps get above 85°. I hope they don't think I'm that dumb. I called the electric company and was told that was a lie. I was then told there's nothing they can do right now and it'll get better because it should be cooling off soon, as in the next few days. I'm pretty sure they don't like anyone questioning
