At NoPo Kids Dentistry, Doctor Staci, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), recommend to establish a "Dental Home" for your child by around one year of age.
Children who have a dental home at younger ages are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care, as well they are more likely to avoid future dental issues and disease.They also learn early to love the dentist and are less apt to have fear and phobias with coming to see us.

This is the best dental team ever, and I'm so happy we found them a couple of years ago. My kids leave NOPO with huge smiles on their faces after a truly wonderful experience. They and I appreciate the upbeat, gentle and fun atmosphere. Baiylie and Dr. Staci treat my kids like their own which means the absolute world to me. ALL NOPO humans are lovely, inspiring, and love what they do, and it shows!

We had an amazing experience here for my daughter's first dental visit. I really appreciate the time Dr. Staci takes with her patients to talk about recent research and nutrition. Everyone was so warm and they made great effort to keep things fun and comfortable. We absolutely love this place and it will definitely be our long term dentist office.

NoPo Kids Dentistry is a fantastic dentist. Our kiddo started going to them when he was about 3-years-old and it was a very good first experience. Dr Staci is THE BEST, period. If you have a kid - take them there. She is educated, kind, patient and simply the best. She is a breath of fresh air in a stale practice; yes I said it. No procedures are pushed on kids, there is education (if you want it), there is no shaming and no judgement. There are not enough stars to give to Dr. Staci and her team. I have been bringing our 2 children here since their first dentist appointment several years ago, and will be a dedicated client for as long as we can. In fact, we moved over an hour away from Portland and the thought never crossed my mind to find a provider closer to us.

We’ve had great experiences at NoPo Kids dentistry! From the moment you walk in you can tell they care about kids and want to make it a fun experience. Our daughter’s first dental visit was here and I couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else. The staff is all very warm and welcoming and Dr. Staci is incredible at what she does and has so much knowledge. This dental office is amazing!!!! When you walk in you just feel the warmth and calmness. The office staff was so friendly and the hygienists had my kiddo smiling and happy all the way through her visit. She talked directly to her explaining things as she was doing them so my daughter didn't feel like things were being done "to her" but that she got to participate in the experience. It made it very positive for a child that was not excited to be there when the visit began.

I can’t recommend NoPo Kid’s Dentistry enough! From the moment we walked in to leaving it was amazing. Even my kids said we LOVED the dentist- I mean what kid says that? The whole staff was so friendly and kind. Dr. Staci went above and beyond to answer all our questions and offer such great recommendations and feedback. I have never been to a kid’s dentist that truly embodies the “Whole Body” approach. She’s changing pediatric dentistry and offering real solutions. We went here on a referral from another dentist. It is lovely dental office but be prepared to pay a premium for treatment (I am sure it is expensive to keep up such a nice office). We have a great in-network dental plan, but they still wanted to do thousand of dollars more work than our insurance would cover. We hoped that we could break-up our treatment and do the worst teeth now and the rest after the beginning of the year for better insurance coverage and less out of pocket cost. I cannot say enough wonderful things about NoPo Kids Dentistry, Dr. Staci, and her entire team. We drive from almost three hours away because we love how she listens to our concerns and works with us to come up with the best possible outcome for our children. One of our children has special needs and she spent so much time with us giving us ideas on how to work with him to make brushing something that doesn't cause a melt down every single day. Dr. Staci went out of her way to connect with me after I posted my review. She was genuinely upset that my family did not have a good experience and she was very open to my feedback. I do feel that she cares a great deal about her clients and unfortunately I think what happened with my daughter was just unlucky, I don't think it was intentional negligence by any means. I do wish things would have turned out differently, but ultimately this dentist is thoughtful and engaged, and I believe that she took my concerns to heart. And that matters.

What an amazing place. All kids dentist and doctor's offices should follow suit. So fun and colorful and not intimidating in the least bit. We can't say enough good things about NoPo kids!! They take holistic dentistry to the next level. My kids are excited about going to the dentist and I am at ease knowing my kids are getting the best quality care in a fun and calming environment. Dr. Staci is so amazing at what she does and every staff member I've met has been friendly and helpful. This past visit Jessica was so great with my kids and helped address our specific needs and questions! As a nutritionist, I LOVE that they incorporate dietary prevention tips into their care model -- so important!!

My Daughter had a great 1st dental experience at NoPo Kids Dentistry. The office was so warm and welcoming. Check in in was easy, and Heather enjoyed all the toy options while we waited. We then zoomed up the rocket ship elevator to our cleaning. Jessica was great at explaining what each instrument was and what sounds they made. My daughter (3.5 yrs old) was so excited and calm throughout the entire process. She loves her new bamboo toothbrush and the bouncy ball she received. She is excited to go back!

Dr Staci Whitman has created an outstanding environment for children's dental care. My three children are always so excited for their appointments because of the fun atmosphere and caring staff! It is very obvious that Dr Whitman cares deeply about children's overall health and uses a whole body wellness approach to dental health. I can't say enough nice things about NoPo Kids Dentistry, Dr. Whitman and the whole team are amazing. From the minute you walk in the door you know you are going to be well cared for. Dr. Staci and her team are absolutely incredible. They somehow turned my extremely sensitive 2 yo into the world's best dental patient, expertly fixing her shamefully neglected teeth without shaming me. We love coming to the dentist! My six year old has been coming here for a few years now and has zero fear of the dentist visit. The staff is warm, friendly, and very kid- focused. Today we had Jessica (who was very sweet) clean my daughter's teeth and do X-rays. Following that, the dentist comes in and talks about practical day to day tips on keeping teeth healthy. It's always a good experience and I wish I had a place like this when I was a kid! We were and out in about 30 minutes. Thanks!

First dentist appointment for my 5 year old and it was such a wonderful experience! Upon entering I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and we were immediately surrounded by bold blocks of colorful and a kid friendly atmosphere. Jessica guided us to my son's dental room which was surrounded by very soft over sized pillows and stuffed animals. The walls were adorned in beach theme. Jessica was AMAZING! This practice has made two dentist loving kids! My kids 5, and 3 are so excited to come here and see Dr. Staci and her team. Everyone here is so nice and easy to talk to. The whole place is clean and super kid friendly! Plus there's a parking lot! The way they explain to kids and caregivers about oral hygiene and food recommendations just right. They even have a room that doesn't have a traditional dentist chair and all the equipment is tucked away to keep the kids from feeling intimidated. Worked great for my sons 1st visit. Happy to have found this place.
