Caroline Peterson, DO, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Peterson has been in private practice in Dayton, Ohio for over 25 years. She continues to provide complete, compassionate care for women of all ages through an individualized patient experience.
Dr. Peterson also serves as the Director of Breast Cancer Screening and Prevention for Kettering Health Network and as the Medical Supervisor of Kettering's genetics program.

Caroline Peterson, DO, has 25 years experience in the surgical field and is an accomplished surgeon in minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques. She has performed more hysteroscopic procedures than anyone in this region of the country. Dr. Peterson is a national spokesperson for Novasure ablations and trains other physicians to perform these procedures safely and effectively.
Caroline Peterson, DO, has been delivering babies in the greater Dayton area for 25 years. From the first baby she delivered in the mid- 90s to those delivered this year, she still finds great joy in this part of her practice. Dr. Peterson says, "It is an amazing miracle when a newborn comes into this world, and I feel blessed to be able to participate in this incredible moment in the lives of my patients and their families."
Our Cancer Prevention program is focused on the prevention and early detection of hereditary and familial cancers. The first aspect of our program screens and evaluates patients who may have an elevated risk for developing one of eight types of hereditary and familial cancers, including breast, ovarian, colon, uterine, pancreatic, gastric, melanoma and prostate cancer.

One of the doctors said to my husband and I “why aren’t you guys happy? were you not trying for a baby?” This was AFTER I had told her I was bleeding for days and concerned I was miscarrying. Anyone would be upset in that situation. It then took 3 weeks to get a call confirming the miscarriage. Completely unprofessional especially for such a sensitive subject.

Dr. Peterson has been absolutely fantastic. My previous GYN told me all my issues were normal. When I was no longer able to take birth control that kept all of my female issues managed I left my old practice because I was not being listened to.
I never wanted kids, but was constantly told by other doctors I was too young and I would change my mind. Im 32 years old and have my mind set. I wanted my tubes removed and also wanted my horribly painful and heavy periods taken care of. My friends recommended Dr. Peterson

I've been with Dr. Peterson for eight years . She's smart, sharp, non-judgmental and cares about all women, their health, managing illnesses, whether pregnant or purposely childfree. I really like her new solo practice vs the old partnership one. The rooms have everything in them including wheelchair-accessible restrooms, so every room is very private. Enter through the 7756 entrance not the main one. Also since she's now a part of the Kettering network, you can use MyChart to schedule appts, review your record, or send messages.
