Our physicians are proud to be on the cutting edge of diagnostic and surgical technology. All skin biopsies are examined by a board-certified dermatopathologist, and two of our surgeons are fellowship-trained in Mohs dermatologic surgery. Dermatology LTD also offers phototherapy, and other specialized therapies for the most severe skin diseases.

Since the practice was founded in 1951 by late Dr. John Laskas Sr., our dedicated team of board-certified dermatologists have been providing each patient with the highest quality dermatologic care, while adhering to the highest medical and ethical standards.
Routine Fees: Fees are based on the number and complexity of your dermatological problems. You will be given a receipt for your private insurance so that you may be reimbursed. We accept Medicare assignments for all eligible patients. You are responsible for any co-payment and deductible portions of insurance coverage.
To make an appointment by phone, conveniently request an appointment online through the online request form or call the office most convenient to you. We make every attempt to schedule appointments to accommodate your schedule, including early morning hours. If this is your first appointment? We kindly request the courtesy of giving us 24 hour notice if you must cancel an appointment as we often have patients waiting for cancelled slots.
Requests for prescription renewals are handled during routine office hours. Please have your pharmacy number available. PRESCRIPTIONS CANNOT BE FILLED OVER THE WEEKEND OR WHEN THE OFFICE IS CLOSED. We will call you only if we are unable to renew the medication; please check with your pharmacy as to when the prescription will be available.

Today I called to schedule an appointment at Briton Lake Dermatoloty and was told that they no longer were accepting new patients. When I called back and spoke with Kathy, she informed me that there are seven dermatologists within the practice and that the information given on the previous call was untrue. However, she stated I missed my 1st scheduled appointment as a new patient in May with Dr. Schriner, so this practice no longer wants to provide me service. Dr. Burkert is the best skin doctor on the planet. She takes my wife and me at the same time each year and provides an extremely thorough and competent exam.

Dr. Kelly Berkeley and her staff are beyond exceptional, courteous, friendly, personable, professional, kind and understanding! She listens and is very sensitive to your issues and concerns and works with you to find opportunities to address them in a cost effective manner, through prescriptions and/or lifestyle changes. Dr Burkert is amazing. She is super friendly and explains things very clearly. The staff is also amazing. I was a little disappointed that a follow up was not scheduled for my 2018 appointment. Only after I realized a year had gone by and called was an appointment made. And as is typically with a dermatologist, I had to wait a decent amount of time for the next available. Once again, when I had my appointment yesterday, I was told that her calendar is not available and I am unable to schedule my next appointment. I see Dr. Chan every 6 months for a skin cancer screening. He and his staff always make me feel comfortable and important. He has, so far, found 4 cancerous spots and just this week, he found a suspicious spot which he biopsied . With each case, he has calmly explained my options and has followed up with my treatments. I only give it 2 stars because the doctor was actually great. Their office and office staff is not great. They want the patient to do their leg work with insurance. They said it's more efficient for their office to have the patient do the work and wanted me to jump through hoops to get any type of insurance approval.

Had a yearly skin check last year and it required a biopsy which turned out to be benign. Good experience, Dr. Riggs was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Dealing with the front desk and billing staff is another story though. I made my appointment months ago for another yearly check up and was all set to go until i thought to make sure my check would be considered preventative as i have a very high deductible but preventative visits are covered 100% by my insurance. I have learned now that full skin checks are not usually billed as preventative by dermatologists which still doesn't make

I adore Dr. Carroll. Starting around 7th grade I had bad acne issues that just got worse over two years. When my mom and I decided it was time to get some help from a Dermatologist we tried one place (and I don't remember the name) which was awful. The office was really dark which makes no sense at all especially when it comes to skin... good lighting helps... and the doctor himself was a bit irritating.
