Pregnancy is an exciting time, but it should also be one in which you give extra attention to your oral health, hygiene and professional dental needs. Your dental and oral habits now can have an impact on your long-term health and the dental and overall health of your unborn child. After you have your baby, it is essential to understand how your current oral health can affect your child.
The word "surgery" often brings to mind a stay in the hospital, general anesthesia, and perhaps a lengthy recovery period. However, the experience of having oral surgery is usually very different from that. Oral surgery is often performed in a dental office setting, under local anesthesia, with minimal recovery time.
If your insurance covers treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, as a courtesy, we will file your claims.

New parents have plenty to worry about: making sure their baby is healthy and happy, re-arranging their lives around hectic schedules and lost sleep, and figuring out what to do in all sorts of novel situations. When it comes to your child's oral health, though, there's plenty of help available. It all begins at our office, when you bring your youngster in for his or her first visit to the dentist.
Your child won't keep his or her first teeth forever, but that doesn't mean those tiny pearly whites don't need conscientious care. Maintaining your child's dental health now will provide health benefits well into adulthood, as primary (baby) teeth serve some extremely important functions. For one thing, primary teeth serve as guides for the eruption of permanent (adult) teeth, holding the space into which these new teeth will erupt.

The Dentist here are very rude and disrespectful and should not be allowed to work with kids especially Dr.Katie . Knowing my child was scared she proceeded to get louder and louder telling my daughter She's not even doing anything to hurt her as if she's not a kid . She's scared so why are you raising your voice at my kid but I did hold my tongue until I left so I can write a review She came sit in the chair with out an introduction until I asked her name then proceeded to ask me were the other two kids seated next to my daughter were my kids just because we are black as if all

My son had an accident during the holidays and had to get his teeth removed. We called on a Friday afternoon and they stayed late and fixed him up. He never cried once during the whole process. He recovered so quickly and I have Bippos to thank for this! They were amazing during such a stressful and scary time. I can't thank them enough for taking such amazing care of my son.

I wish I could rate this dentist a 0. My 3 year old daughter went here for 2 silver caps. It was a nightmare. Was given multiple shots for numbing(I COUNTED 8). Drilled the same spot while blood poured from my poor child's mouth. Restrained her while two dentist assitance held her head. I was crying while i watch helpless. I was in a rage. I didnt want to stop them due to the hole the drill had caused. Very unprofessional. I recommend no parent to allow a dentist to cap a child teeth that will fall out eventually. The suffering isnt worth it. She passed out on the table due to crying and

This place is phenomenal. I have a teenager and a grade-schooler. As they waited for the staff to call them to the back, they each had something fun to do. Once they were called to the back, the staff explained everything to me and the kids. Then, the dentist came to provide an exam and discuss teeth with the kids. I really enjoyed this experience and look forward the their next appointments.

My 4 year old ran in excited about the play place and the train running along the ceiling. (There are also video games and a separate room for teens). When it came time for his appointment (not a long wait at all!) they took him back - parents are encouraged to wait in the waiting room, did his exam and he came back all smiles and asking when did he get to come back to see the "nice dentist that cleaned his teeth so they were shiny". Definitely a great place to take your kids especially if it's their first dental experience!

Usually this place is really good. I've been going here since I was a kid and now my kids are pts too. Sadly in the past year or so they've been slipping.
Today alone I've been called back 3 times for them to tell me they made mistakes on my daughters charts. One kid doesn't have any cavities when she was supposed to have 2 other one has the cavity on the top instead of the bottom. They had charted that they did a cleaning when they hadn't.
Other things:
They used to have actual goodie bags now they give them a choice of 2 party favors and a coloring sheet. The play

My kids have been patients of Dr Donaldson for years, since they were at their old location on Holiday Dr, so I thought I would take a few minutes to write a review and tell other parents why I highly recommend these dentists. First, the new facility is amazing with lots of stuff for the kiddos to do while they wait. In fact, my preteen boys still get excited to find out its time for a checkup and disappointed when, inevitably, we're only there a few minutes before being called back. Awesome! I was a little discouraged when we pulled up and I seen a parking lot full of cars!! I thought "oh boy, we're going to be here awhile." Surprisingly though our appointment was at 9:15 & we arrived 15 mins early for paperwork & we were leaving at 5 mins til 10!!! The environment is great for children!
