Good food and good service. I just wish they would accept Apple Pay! Often I want to stop by during my run, but I don't have my credit card on me. I always have my phone though!

Staying at the hotel and ran downstairs for a sandwich, ordered the turkey panni. Got to my room....it was a roast beef...?? Went back down and had them correct my order. Got back to my room and it was missing the bacon and no cheese... sigh.

Cute atmosphere but the food was more then disappointing. It came out cold and the quality in the food just wasn't there. Staff was friendly. But I definitely won't go back.

My go to is the Spicy Chicken. It is delicious, and I highly recommend it! Chipotle chicken, avocado, bacon, chipotle gouda cheese and chipotle mayo on sourdough! You can't go wrong!

We picked up sandwiches for our airline flight which worked out very well. I had the turkey wrap. It was enough to keep two carnivores happy! My husband had a build your own of pastrami and swiss cheese and was equally happy! I'd stop again; our service was good.

We were pleasantly surprised that a garden inn had this type of deli. We thought we were just going to grab microwave meals. We ordered the daily special, I believe it was a Chipotle Burger (we had two of these) and onion rings. They have outdoor seating outside. We took our food to go and had another surprise. The size of the burger was on the bigger side, you can definitely share this. The burger had a great taste to it, everything complimented each other. The onion rings were a little over cooked but still nice taste.

Best Place to eat lunch. I love their spicy chicken sandwich. Went here on Monday 16-Aug-2021, and the food was on point and delicious. I really do hope they have one down at my place, La Mesa since my work office is closed and it might be my last time going over there for the BEST SPICY SANDWICH EVER.

I gave this place good ratings in the past but retract that. Horrible customer service. I walked in just to get a drink. No food. Door wide open And sign said OPEN! They wouldn’t take my money. 2 people in there. Just for a drink. Never go back…

My boyfriend and I LOVE this place!! It is very unassuming bc it is attached to a hotel but the food is REALLY high quality and delicious everytime. We get lunch here at least twice a week. We're from NY originally so love the name and there are sooo many options!!

So glad I stumbled upon this spot in Del Mar Heights at The Hilton Garden Hotel. I got a turkey and prosciutto sandwich with Swiss and American on a baguette and it was fantastic. The service was friendly and accommodating. All and all I was completely satisfied with my experience at NY Garden Deli & Cafe and will be back next tine work brings me to this part of town.

Amazing sandwiches and salads Impeccable place and staff are sweet . Stopped by here twice in the 3 days we were here. They use Boars Head meat and are very generous. Sandwiches are beautiful in addition to tasty.

A hidden gem with a sunny patio, great food and surrounded by palm trees! I got the spicy chicken sandwich. It was loaded with chicken and very flavorful. Prices are good too, I recommend!!

I am not normally a sandwich person, but after getting a grilled chicken sandwich here...ohmygosh, I am now HOOKED! I came here two days in a row, it was that good.

The sandwiches here are so ridiculously fresh and tasty. They use Boar's Head deli meats and cheese so the quality is excellent. The sandwiches are also very affordable, around $7-$8. I feel like you can't get a good sandwich for that price anymore!

I got the grilled chicken sandwich (one of their top sellers) and also did a build-your-own with cracked pepper turkey and a bunch of vegetables.

Conveniently located just outside our hotel. Our sandwiches were delicious! Above average pricing, but worth it. I had the Roast Beef Panini and my husband had the Italian. It would appear they serve their sandwiches hot, so if you would prefer it cold, I would request it that way. My husband was bummed when they handed him a hot sandwich but surprisingly enjoyed it anyway.

Clean food, good price! Got 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad $8.50. Super filling and tastey!

Really great sandwiches here! I went for the first time with a group of coworkers for lunch and was impressed by the many options available for building your own sandwich. I got sourdough, roast beef, cheddar, lettuce, avocado and honey mustard, for less than $10, and it the portions were large enough that I only ate half for lunch. They did accidentally give me white bread instead of sourdough but I felt bad and didn't want them to throw it away so I didn't mention it and it was still great. Got a brownie. It was $4 and it was pretty big. Probably one of the worst brownies I've ever had. It was not fresh at all and it had clearly been laying around for a few days. The place was empty and now I know why. Their menu is pretty pricey. Parking was easy to find. 5/10 would recommend.

Dude, this place is really effing good. I ordered the Italian sandwich and kept staring at this gorgeous brownie the size of my face until I paid for it. I was on a biz trip and accidentally paid for it with my own card and didn't care. It is deep. It is moist. It is sacred. The best brownie I've ever had. Really great sandwich as well!!! It's twice the size of my palm...

Excellent sandwiches made to order. Alcohol available... Wine. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food.
