Tried applying for this place from the Atlanta area. We are relocating to this area and I am already seeing a huge housing disparity in this town. We were denied 2 hours after seeing the property and paying a 50 application fee in cash. My husband and I have GREAT rental history for over 10 years with evictions and pretty sure we met the credit score requirements. Also we've ALWAYS paid over 1100 base rent in Atlanta with no problem. The ONLY reason I can think of was our race along with our political position my son displayed the day we viewed the property. This town will NEVER grow if these practices

I've lived here for two (going on three) years and for the most part no complaints. The complex is well maintained, the office staff is helpful, the area is quiet, the units are clean, and for the most part my neighbors are friendly. You are close to all of the local business areas. The business hours maintenance supervisor, Allen, is great, quick, and friendly! However, my biggest issue is with the after hours maintenance person; they are not helpful at all. The staff are very friendly and the only issue I had (faucet broke) was fixed ASAP. The apartments are clean, well-maintained, slightly outdated and serve their purpose. The surrounding area is not bad, I know Rocky Mt has a bad rep but the apt complex is surrounded by the Country Club's golf course and under 24 hour surveillance :)

First impressions are lasting impressions. My wife and I were impressed from the very beginning with how professiional and curtious management was when we made contact with an interest to rent an apartment. Management and staff took extra time in addressing our questions and made us very comfortable in making a decision to rent. The apartment meets our needs and the neighborhood is exactly what we were looking for (Peace and Quiet). Great location and good units. Only issues is that the property is on the older side and might have minor issues with the light fixtures, utilities being of older models etc. Good amenities in terms of a fitness center, central laundry area, tennis courts, volley ball court, swimming pool and a dog park for your 4 legged friends. Management is responsive and understanding. Rents are on the expensive side for a town like Rocky Mount.

I don't believe those who lie and say this is not working/water in the master bedroom or other lies, not without a pix, as proof or recording, even with other things in life because i have been here a few x when sis rent in nice rocky mount and i loved it.

Got a late charge on my rent because when I moved in they told me if the 5th fell on a weekend I could pay on Monday. Whatever, I get it. Told me to my face that the late charge was 29 dollars, charged me 29.60 and sent me a notice for the 60 cents. My lease is about up and if I don't sign another lease, my rent will go up 220 dollars. I always paid my rent, never got complaints from neighbors, and haven't messed anything up in the apartment. Rent is way to high, I rather rent a house that has twice as much room for the same rent price. Car got broken into as well as some other folks. The maintenance

Horrible apartment complex. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
My husband and I were under a time constraint and picked this place in a day. Big mistake!
The appliances are broken and out dated, there aren't any overhead lights in the living room or bedrooms, no disposal, even though there is a breaker and switch for one, toilets usually take two flushes to work, closet in the master bedroom is not functional, rusty hardware on bathroom doors, if you are taking a shower you need to make sure nobody else touches the water anywhere else in the apartment or you'll get blasted

I enjoyed my brief stay at Wildwood Trace. The apartment complex is located in a quiet golf course, and my neighbors were working professionals. The complex was very quiet and well-maintained. Maintenance was great. I felt disconnected from the leasing office, but they were polite. The laundry facilities would be my biggest gripe (machines would break), but all in all, a nice place in Rocky Mount.
