Valley Home Inspectors LLC is family owned and operated by Anthony Kovatto and his wife Colleen. VHI is located in Macungie, PA. Anthony has lived in the Lehigh Valley his entire life. Anthony has been doing carpentry, home renovations, home maintenance and then home inspections for the last 15 years.
Valley Home Inspectors offers more than just home inspections. We offer other services to ensure the proper safety and function of your home. We know how important it is to make sure your family will be safe in a new home. There is a list under the SERVICES tab that explains in detail how important it is to have these other services done prior or immediately after closing on a new home.
According to Internachi standards of practice a home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by these Standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector.
All home inspections should be done by a properly trained home inspector. It is very important as the client that you find a home inspecting company who require their home inspectors to have thorough and proper training through a certified Home Inspection Institute.

We serve all of Lehigh, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Monroe, Schuylkill, Northern Chester, Northampton, and Montgomery county. My wife and I grew up in Montgomery and Berks county. We both resided in Lehigh county for almost 10 years and now reside in Berks county again. We enjoy serving the local communities we grew up in.

Valley Home Inspectors recently did a home inspection for my first time new home and they absolutely did above and beyond and went out of their way so many times to not only explain structures I didnt understand but just inform of also how I could fix any issues. Anthony was incredible and made my anxiety a lot less because of their inspection. Amazing quality company!

Tony was extremely thorough and knowledgeable during our inspection. The report was ready within 24 hours, and was well-organized and easy to read. He even suggested contractors for the various issues and provided a video commentary to show us exactly what was happening up on the roof, which was very helpful. We strongly recommend Valley Home Inspectors! Really great experience from start to finish.

Highly recommend. Anthony was great. Professional, very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and offered a ton of insight into the mechanicals of the house that I was unfamiliar with. Very personable as well so while the inspection did take about 2-2.5 hours, the time flew by. This inspection was the second time I’ve gone through a home inspection and I was much more satisfied with how thorough and informative this was.

We used Valley Home Inspectors for our home inspection contingency on a new home purchase. We can’t recommend them enough! Tony was awesome: professional, knowledgeable, on time, and hilarious. He walks through the entire house with you, recording everything while discussing what he sees with you. Anthony did our home inspection. He was amazing! He thoroughly reviewed the house, explained what we were looking at, and answered every question we had before, during, and after the inspection. I worked with Tony and Colleen to schedule our inspection. They fit me in the week I called, which was greatly appreciated, especially given how busy it is right now with the market being the way it is! He was early, did a very thorough job. We loved the video of the roof that he provided. The warranties and check on any recalls on appliances was very helpful. Great company, and our realtor was also very impressed. Tony clearly had knowledge in contracting, as he told us how to fix some minor issues that were found.

We needed a home inspection done on the house we’re purchasing, looking for local companies online I came across them and decided to call based on the great reviews. It was very easy to setup the appointment and I could tell he was very knowledgeable just by the discussion we had about the property.
