Dr. Paventy is from Spokane, Washington. While growing up he had opportunities to live in New York, Florida, and parts of Southern California. He then completed his schooling in Provo, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Paventy attended Utah Valley University and received an Associates Degree in Science.

Composite fillings are colored to look like a natural tooth and are an aesthetic alternative to metal dental fillings. From my first appointment in March (just before the coronavirus hit!) and again for my follow up this month (with more than enough COVID-19 precautions!) I have been pleased with the professional, dedicated and friendly service provided by the staff, including their willingness to inform and support their patients. The location is relaxing too with the coloring trees and babbling stream right outside the windows! I would recommend them to all!

This is a truly wonderful dentist office to visit. The views of the stream, trees and foothills are lovely while you are sitting in the chair, and Jeannie, my hygienist really took the time to make sure we had covered my dental history and any questions I had about my teeth or about dental hygiene in general. The cleaning itself was lovely as well. Jeannie was gentle and careful to make sure I knew what she was doing before she did it, AND she did an impeccable job. Best teeth cleaning I have ever experienced. I left with a big smile!

I called regarding my broken tooth and the the first person who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. We were disconnected and the second person answered and basically told me I could come in for a cleaning in three weeks. WOW!
My tooth breaks on Friday afternoon and I was hoping for an appointment Monday. So I inquired about emergency services. She didnt have time on Monday to deal with me and since I wasn't a patient i could come in for a cleaning in 2 or 3 weeks.
I have since found a dentist to address my broken tooth that is only held together by a filling. I am glad too because it

I have been going to mallard family dental for over six years now and I couldn’t be happier. I have had exceptional care, the staff is friendly and fun, plus you can’t beat the pleasant views from the chair! I came to my first appointment after years of no dental visits and they didn’t shame me or make me feel bad, they just got to work on helping me get my dental health back on track. I got every six months for a cleaning and have had a couple of bigger procedures and I can’t imagine being as loyal to any other dentist.

I cannot more highly recommend Mallard Family Dental for kids! I have been taking my son since he was 3 years old and my daughter since she was 2 - the dental hygienists are AMAZING at being kind, gentle, and explaining things at a kid level so the kids understand and aren’t scared. Both of my kids are actually excited about going to the dentist!

I’ve been going for years, abs my entire family has too. The hygienists are all wonderful, good at their jobs and fun to chat with! They remember you, your family, work, etc. and always seem happy to see you. Dr Paventi is a great dentist who is helpful, efficient, and thoughtful. Everything is run well... I love the text reminders for appointments and attention to detail. I highly recommend them to all of my clients in SE Boise.

If you're looking for a dentist in the Treasure Valley, I highly recommend Mallard Family Dental. The staff is friendly, honest, and professional. I first went to Mallard Family Dental as a college student on the recommendation of a friend in town.That was over 25 years ago and I won't go anywhere else. My husband hadn't seen a dentist for 20 years until I convinced him to go. The staff was welcoming and he felt comfortable. Now he goes twice a year and my son is a patient too!

We were new to the area in 2016 and I was needing a new dentist. I have worked as a dental assistant for many years, so I am very careful with who I choose to take care of mine and my families teeth. This office was just what I was looking for and wanted! Kind, professional, great with my kids and teens, honest, and a beautiful office! The overall experience is rated a 10+ for me and for my family! I would recommend and do recommend people to this office often!

My husband and I moved to Boise recently and I did tons of research trying to find a new dentist. Found nothing but great things about Mallard Family Dental!
