Services
Here at Springboard, our team is comprised of individuals with a myriad of fascinating backgrounds such as: dancers, writers, artists, cyclists, runners, and activists. However, we all crossed paths for one very distinct reason: the Pilates Method. Our studio doesn't operate like an ordinary set of staff members just doing their job, we truly enjoy one another.
At Springboard, we take the time to make sure that you are always deepening your understanding of the work. We want you to own your workout! We encourage clients to practice at home, and we will train you to stay in tune with what your body is telling you throughout the workout. With open communication between teacher and student, we can craft a difficult and energizing workout or a gentle and rehabilitative session.
Here at Springboard Pilates, we encourage all clients to start with the Introductory Package of your first two 50-minute private lessons for just $100 total. If a group class is your primary interest, we encourage starting at the beginner level regardless of physical fitness. This allows us to teach you the Pilates Method as it was taught to us by our Classical Pilates Masters, as it was meant to be taught: from the beginning.
In order to achieve your health and fitness goals with Pilates, we recommend that you practice 3-4 times a week. Most of our students enjoy a combination of group classes, private lessons, and/or semi-private sessions on the equipment (as well as homework, of course).Working on the equipment originally designed by Joseph Pilates, himself, is an integral part of the Method.
Pilates is an extremely beneficial mode of exercise for pregnancy. It offers a low impact way to stretch and strengthen your whole body, as you get ready for childbirth and motherhood. The work will help you keep your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles strong as your belly expands. Staying in touch with these muscles will not only alleviate pain during pregnancy, but will assist you in labor and delivery.
