Ixtapa

Ixtapa is our go-to place. The food is always really good. The staff is very efficient and friendly. They make us feel like family.

Jumbo Margarita tasted good and the fajitas were flavorful but could have used more chicken. Corn tortillas may have been house made? Pretty tasty will stop in again.

Very laid back atmosphere, and they are very quick with strong drinks and yummy food. They have an outdoor seating area for good weather, but it isn't always open.

Idk man. The guy seated us, didn't give us a menu. Came over and asked if we were ready like 10 minutes later. (No drinks yet, btw) Super bizarre.

Would leave 0 stars. We used to order from Ixtapa in Redmond. Always had great food and service in restaurant and for take out / order. Food here is way over cooked and portions are small and delivery packaging is really bad. Called to complain and staff was not helpful, hard to blame Uber driver when it was obvious the food was packaged and stacked very poorly.

Super slow to almost non existent service, food was extremely bland and small portions for price.
Food chips were warm to hot when we were finally served them actual food was just about too hot to even eat.
Do not recommend going Here, there are so many other Mexican Restaurants that are way better in town to go to over this one.

I would frequent this location often since the location is convenient. The food is consistent and so is the service. But recently I was not happy with either and will drive an extra few miles for less expensive good quality Mexican food.

Usually great but hard to enjoy take out Mexican. So much more fun dining inside. Soon THAT WILL HAPPEN. will be back.

Favorite Mexican food in Seattle area. Few months ago I had gone to a different Ixtapa, and was excited to learn there was in Lynnwood.

At the other location I got enchiladas and at this location I got huevos rancheros. Portions are big and delicious and cooked perfect. Have loved the food I got here both times. Give it a chance.

Pros:

Super Underrated restaurant !! We lov it! Really good and tasty food! The drinks are cold and fresh😉 last time we tried no name appetizer,Sooo good! And the staff so nice all the time!

We ordered one dish - the no names...you had one job- to deliver them in an edible form but to our great dismay, we haphazardly choked on a giant chicken bone the size of my pinky! When we tried to mention our disgusting discovery, the waiter brushed it off as though chicken bones in the food was a common and expected item to be found. It was horrifying and we couldn't get the check fast enough to get out of there with our lives.

Oh my gosh so good!!!! We had a party of 8 who came in Sunday night, called ahead and they had the table all ready with water and chips and salsa which was DELICIOUS! I got the enchiladas en mole with chicken and they were soooooo good. We were all happy with the food and drinks and our server was awesome! She was super sweet and happy and we were even practicing our Spanish with her and she laughed! So yummy, if I didn't live in Friday harbor I'd be back all the time!

The service was second to none. The tacos were delicious and the mechelada was on point. The owner came out to greet us. He was a young cool cat with a real family history in the restaurant business. Great food, great environment and great people.

Visited here with my Dad a few weeks ago and was not very impressed. Margaritas where blended nicely, but could not taste any Tequila whatsoever. Shrimp Fajitas my Dad ordered were over cooked and soggy, and my Chili Verde was watery and not very flavorful. Portion size on both dishes was on the small side, and were over priced.
Service was pretty good until our food was delivered, and then everybody seemed to just disappear. There were only 5 or 6 other tables with customers, so it's not like they were overly busy.

Wonderful service with great portions. The pomegranate margarita is spectacular. I had a mole enchilada and it was fabulous. Will definitely be back ASAP!

Getting SO expensive. Dinner for 2, no alcohol was $50. Ouch. Still love the staff and location.

Well I don't know what crack these others people rating this place are smoking, but it's wack crack. This place is not only one of the cleanest restaurants I have been to but also some of the best service I have ever had.
Food is always great.
Service is ALWAYS spot on. We have never had to wait long for anything. Or even ask, they just know and are on it. Right as we're out of water, it's filled. Busy or not, it's always been a great place to eat!

Where is the cheese where is the beef where o where Ixtapa you charge OVERRRRR $10 for this...
I will go to Taco Time for $8 taco salad and at least they will give me cheese in my taco salad...

I won't even go into the blahhhhhhhh flavor.......

Boooooo Ixtapa you can do better..... or can you!!
