Twin Bear Equipment Rentals was founded in 1959 by Joe Petit, who built the original (and still operational) building in Big Bear City with an apartment upstairs for his family of 5. In the early 1970's, Big Bear Blvd. Our family history evolves from Dad's roots in construction as well as Mom's excellence in catering and event planning.

Nice place. We rented skies quite fast and found everything needed. People here were really friendly and helpful. A little abset with one guy who took off the mask, but it was only short time. Perfect from other perspective, 25-30 dollars for 1 day is much better than is offered in official rental in Big Bear.

Great service, always has what I need. The only disappointing thing that happened was when I rented something and they said they were open till 5:00 on Sunday and when I got there at 4:30 it was locked up tight. I had to take a day off work to return it on a Monday.

I needed a gas filter for a small riding lawn mower. They didnt have the one I needed but did have one for small chain saws. They were nice and helpful. They recommended the CarQuest down the street. What a cool rental place.

Had exactly what we needed to rent and the price was reasonable. The gentleman that helped us even threw in some nails we needed for the nail gun we rented. Very organized and helpful shop.

They have lots of inventory as well is reasonable rental rates. We needed a boom lift, they had one and at better price than Home Depot even. The folks there are helpful and thorough with safety run down and explanation. The lift that we used was nice quality and a newer model that performed perfectly. Glad we found this business on a whim and it worked out so conveniently.

The people who worked there were extremely friendly and helpful. The prices were super affordable and the skis I rented were good quality. Would definitely go back!
