Here at The Island Agency Vacation Rentals we understand what makes a vacation home right for our guests. We make it our business to find vacation rentals of the highest standard that go above and beyond our guest's expectations. By providing the finest in vacation rentals we can ensure that our guest's vacation is a success no matter which property they decide to stay in.
From the south, take I-95 to Augusta, Rte. 3 East from Augusta to Belfast, connect to Rte. 1 North to Bucksport and then follow Rte. 15 South to the Deer Isle-Sedgwick Bridge. You'll receive driving directions to your specify cottage 7 days prior to your arrival date. For a more secenic drive one may take Route 1 along the coast from Southern Maine.
Check in and Check out time? Our cottages are primarily Saturday to Saturday rentals. Check in time is 4:00pm on Saturday and check out time is 10:00am the following Saturday. We are not allowing late check outs or accommdating early check-ins. May I bring a pet? Some of our properties consider pet tenancies.
At The Island Agency (Island Rentals Maine) we are always ready to assist you with the steps necessary to rent your home or investment property either weekly in season or for year-round or seasonal rentals. Renting real estate is a partnership between property owners and The Island Agency. We list properties between September and March of each year, for the upcoming rental season.
Do not exceed the max capacity of your rental home. The max capacity of each home is shown on the webpage for that specific home, infants and children are factored into the count. Due to the tight turn-around time for our vacation homes no early check-in or late check-outs are possible. Check-in time is 4:00PM on the day or arrival, Check-out is no later than 10AM on the day of departure.

We have blissfully had a family home in Deer Isle for 40 years. Our home means the world to us. The Island Agency has been our rental agent for 4 years (after the previous generation of our family used someone else) and we couldn't be more grateful or impressed. Their attention to every detail, their cleaners, their communication and responsiveness to every call or email has been terrific. And when a renter neglected to tie up our kayaks and they floated out to sea, they were fully on top of it as well and resolved it perfectly. They are worth every penny. Thank you Island Agency.

I worked with the Island Agency both when I bought my property and again when I sold it, and could not recommend them more highly. Morgan and Rhonda are incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. They had my back for every step of the process, and made sure that I understood how best to position myself for success. Their attentiveness was particularly important to me as I was having to do most of the work for the sale long distance, and knowing that they were there to handle all the details was incredibly helpful.

We chose Island agency because their knowledge of the market in the area and their strategy for selling our house. Rhonda and Morgan told us well before we put the house on the market thane the property inspected. We corrected the problem areas before signing on with them then staged the house as directed, and we set a price based on the area market and felt confident about selling the place without negotiating over picky, picky items.
