I love love love this shop! Did I mention that I love this shop? All the artists are super friendly and chatty, but intelligent, fun-chatty. The shop is light and airy, and my artist (Laura, queen of my life) is extremely responsive, on time, and professional. Laura is currently working on a custom designed piece for me, but my first meeting with her was for a small, relatively "vanilla" tattoo...she treated it like it was the most amazing piece of art she'd ever worked on. I sent her my thoughts on the custom piece I wanted (I have no artistic talent) and she created something a million times

My wife and I came to this shop to get tattoos that celebrated our anniversary trip to Portland. As we arrived, Aaron and Laura made us feel like were home in California. We didn't have an appointment but they were able to accommodate us and even came up with a great design based on things that mean a lot to us. They were down to earth and extremely friendly. Great work to Evolved Arts. Thanks for adding a great memory to our Portland trip.

My fiancé found this place online and surprised me with a gift card for my next tattoo. After some digging around I found Laura's work and loved it. I was excited to have her work on a cover up tattoo with me - and man, did she deliver! we spent some time figuring out what looked best and how big and small things would have to be to cover my tattoo up completely. She cared about what I wanted and also helped me figure out what would look best. not only did my tattoo turn out better than expected but Laura's company was the cherry on top. She's super funny and conversational so time

I've been coming here for a year now, working on getting my leg completely covered. I spend usually 5-6 hours here once or twice a month so I've seen a lot of people get tattooed here. They genuinely care about everyone who comes in. I've already referred quite a few people here and they all love the shop. There are four really wonderful artists here who can do anything! Joshum has been working on my leg since we met at the last convention and I can't imagine going anywhere else anymore.

Before i say anything - i came to this place totally spur of the moment, called the day of and did a walk-in since i saw this place was one of the few that opened late so i realize i didnt look into the place nor the artist who did my tattoo much
i originally got my first (other) tattoo from another artist but thinking he would be booked, i tried this place instead
i got my piece done by laura - i came in with two references and asked her to adapt it style-wise to go with my current tattoos (somewhat neo traditional style w color)

Prickly pear pants, these chaps r frosted Cheerios sweet. Friendly banter and bone crushing permanent ink designs. Swell indoor establishment if you're lookin for one of those markings to march to your death with. If you're looking for down to earth and easy to work with artists, put this in your priority pipe and smoke it.

Three very talented artists. I have dozens of tattoos, mostly from different conventions. I had been a little nervous about finding a local shop until I met the people at Evolved Arts. The shop is clean and inviting, with a cool atmosphere. All the artists use rotary guns, so the sound is different than most shops. I found it to be really relaxing, plus I could here the music better. It looks like they have some time for walk ins occasionally, but it's always better to make an appointment if you want something original.

I wanted to support a new local business and that failed. The sketch was horrible to start with, SMOKED BEFORE THE SESSION and smelled nasty because of it. The owners tattoo of vomit on my hand which was suppose to be a lily is nothing but a disaster. My daughters name fell out. This wasn't an experiment, used colors we didn't discuss. Failed tremendously. This wasnt done last week to be clear.

I have several tattoos from Kendra. She is a true artist. Her style is unique and precise. The shop is very clean, and professional. Kendra will work with you if you are unsure of what you want but have some ideas to throw out for her to go off of. She has a vivid imagination which shows through in her art. Creepy, spooky, cool stuff!! Or flowers if thats what you prefer!!

The best part of getting tattooed here, aside from my fiance and I ending up with two perfect tattoos (Charlie gave us clean line work, attention to detail, his level of experience and artistry really speaks for itself); was the fact that we felt comfortable and at ease in his studio. It was like hanging out with a friend, honestly. He took great care of us from drawing up our tattoos, to after care instructions. I can't recommend Evolved Arts highly enough!

This place is awesome! My friends and I came in yesterday and we booked our appointment today with Brianna. She was so accommodating and made sure we were fit in, as one of my friends had to make a flight later. The shop is very clean and we were able to hang out while each of us got our tattoos. Brianna is so sweet, professional and funny! If I could give more stars I would, because our experience here was great. The work she does is beautiful and hopefully someday when I come back up to visit I can get one of her original pieces. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. heart eyes

I got a really great tattoo from Charlie today, what a pro. You can tell just from talking to him that he is incredibly committed to his profession, and it shows in his work and in the shop itself.
Charlie's linework is amazing, he's timely, and very gentle, super knowledgeable and keeps you hip to everything he's doing while tattooing you. Really, this is likely one of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had. I'll never go see anyone else.
The shop is very clean, spacious, and inviting. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Charlie gave me my first tattoo and I am super happy! What I appreciated the most was how he helped me pick just the right font for the simple text I wanted. He made sure I wouldn't have any regrets and we avoided the everyday common font (ie Arial, etc). The environment was clean and not intimidating. Everyone was super friendly. I'll be back for the next tattoo very soon. Thanks Charlie!

Charlie is awesome! My friends and I came in a group and Charlie managed to put up with us for hours. He is really friendly and has a great sense of humor. He also took the time to answer questions and offer suggestions. The shop has a nice atmosphere too--clean, good music, and welcoming. Highly recommend!
