Lion, John R MD

Dr. Lion received his undergraduate education at Harvard University, and his M.D. degree from the Albany Medical College of Union University in New York, following which he interned on the George Washington University Division of D. C. General Hospital in Washington. He thereafter completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where he was a Research Fellow in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

After serving in the U. S. Navy, he joined the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Lion has extensive experience treating the mood disorders of anxiety and depression and has an active psychotherapy practice involving patients with career and relationship issues.
