I can't say enough good things about this place. I lived here for a year and LOVED it.
Pros:
- It is very safe. It is a gated community so I always felt safe walking my dog late at night. Parking is also very safe.
- The community is also very dog-friendly.
- I never heard my neighbors. Walls are thick. I also lived on the top floor so I can't comment whether you can hear people above.
- Packages are sometimes left in the mail room, parcel locker, or at your door. I never had issues of theft.
- Sabrina was very helpful from day one to the time I moved out. She was the best!

Apartment hunting can be such a bummer, definitely something I don't look forward to doing, however sometimes necessary. I stopped by this place to check out apartments and met with Sabrina who gave me a tour. She answered all of my questions and there were a lot!! Very patient and informative! I can't brag about her enough! At the end of the tour I got to meet her manager Kristel who was a so sweet too! This place is a 10/10! I would rent from this place just for the staff and the cute apartments is a bonus!

Great community as a dog owner. I lived there for 2 years in a top floor corner unit and generally quiet as walls are well sound proofed. Sabrina in the Leasing Office is especially great - she's friendly, engages well with everyone in the community, and timely handles questions on documents, charges etc. My dog wouldn't let me walk by the leasing office without saying hi to her on the way.

During the toughest times in history, Domus has not helped out some of their longest tenants with a rent reduction. No amenities are open, no pool area, not even a BBQ yet we are still paying a premium. Multiple emails have been sent requesting a reduction and the responses are disappointing. It shows they care about the bottom line only and not the amazing people that live here and take care of their apartments. Some of the staff is awesome but we just need a little extra help this year and have been tenants since this place opened.

Tried to call the leasing office to get more information about renting an apartment at Domus, and I spoke with the rudest person I have encountered while on the apartment hunt. Her name is Pam, and she went out of her way to be unhelpful. She basically told me to google the apartment building details. If I could find it on google, I wouldn't have to call them.

I don't understand the lack of open and transparent communication with this complex. It is effusive (at best). Emails to property management go unanswered for months, that is if they are ever answered or acknowledged at all. We get information regarding security breaches but no real additional details are provided. For instance, it would be helpful to know what has happened, what has been done, what is being done and what will specifically change for the future. Not only have storage units been broken into but individuals who don't live here have accessed the property on numerous occasions

We had a break in at our p1 storage area. Twice in the last year and half. Same modus operandi, and the management has failed to rectify security lapses. No added security was put in place untill now. And this is after the rents have gone up by sizable amounts this year. Loss of property is one, but to think of potential risks to individuals in astonishing. This is suppose to be a luxury living with such heavy rent increasing every year. We are left with no choice.

This apartment complex not only has a lovely selection of floor plans and amenities but a fantastic property manager along with a a FIVE STAR maintenance gentleman!!! Allen solved a very complicated problem for me and did with a great attitude!! There was NEVER a " you have to be kidding" approach! As soon as I explained the issue he came up with the perfect solution! Thank you so much Allen!!!

It turns out that my billing account was closed before all the charges were settled, which is why I owed money. Still, after multiple emails and reassurance from the management that I didn't need to worry about the charges, it's much less than ideal to get a call from a collections agency.

This review is only for the tour. But it is a reflection of their management.
I made an appointment for my friend to view the apartment since I'm moving from out of state. My friend arrived at the scheduled time and no management staff was to be seen at the leasing office. Turns out the staff forgot about the appointment and went out to lunch!
When the the staff came back 45 minutes later, she told my friend that it was unacceptable that she stepped into the office/lobby by herself without her there. My friend only stepped on because a resident had let her in so she could wait inside!

My wife and I love, love, love this place!!! The location is great. We both work in the area, so we chose Domus on the boulevard as our home. It is within walking distance to numerous grocery stores and fresh markets; to name a few there's Whole Foods, Sprouts, Safeway, Trader Joe's, and Milk Pail. The new Icon theater is also within walking distance. There are numerous restaurants close by too.
We have lived at this location for two and a half years. The apartments are great with several different layouts. Great amenities and beautiful settings. We would have to say that

Josette is amazing! I told her exactly the criteria I was looking for (price range, number of rooms, sq. ft, cabinet color) and she spent the next several months searching for exactly the perfect unit that would make me happy. She is not pushy at all and genuinely wants to make you a happy resident. She was honest, patient, and extremely great to deal with - a refreshing change from property managers I have encountered elsewhere.

Beautiful place to live, and not only 'building', but community is great! New management is very nice and responsive - they also organize a lot of events for residents which is great to get to know your neighbors and make new friends. Also very good school district. Everything is within walking distance: schools, grocery, pharmacy, etc. Driving to San Jose or Redwood city areas is without traffic.🌞👌

I will preface this review by stating that I've lived in major cities such as NYC and Boston my whole life before moving to the Bay Area, and have never had issues with noise or management issues until here. I lived in a Domus 2bed/2bath unit for the past 2+ years. When we first moved in, we were impressed with the above-average exterior, gym, and convenience to San Antonio shopping center. However as a seasoned resident, I can say that this apartment complex (while it looks "upscale") suffers from poor building quality and management (as evidenced by its numerous management changes

First of all, the place is like a resort. It is like living in a hotel, the apartments are very contemporary, the amenities are awesome (heated pool all year, Jacuzzi, and a very decent gym, along with bbq area and club house with big screen tv and pool table). Second, it is very close to grocery stores like sprouts and CVS, you can literally walk there.
The staff is great as well, especially Joseph. He is very responsive and very helpful whenever you have any questions or maintenance request. I had not signed up for auto pay and I missed to pay rent on time, he totally helped me out by not charging

Beware. The reviews around a year ago don't apply any more (the management has been replaced by a different company). We lived here for a year and decided to leave after the management change (around june 2016). The new management and staff are often sloppy, impatient, and sometime disrespectful. Alan is with Domus from the very beginning (didn't leave after the management change). He's friendly and helpful in our experiences.
I don't recommend. The building is new and nice but I don't think you will enjoy living here with substandard service. Last but not the least, when you pay the deposit,

My wife and I were relocated to Mountain View for work after 10 years in New York City and we decided to live at Domus on the Boulevard this year. Leaving the city was a hard decision, and we were not sure how living in the new area would pan out. As we scouted the new digs, we were blown away by the amenities, they were much much nicer than we ever expected.

The 24 Hour gym rarely has more than 1 other person in it, and is cleaned daily. They even have fresh towels and cold bottles of water which they replenish daily.

Moved in yesterday. I must say I was really sad to leave my amazing apartment in the city for the South Bay but this place more than makes up for it. I immediately felt at home, my apartment is gorgeous, amenities are great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I hope they can keep it that way :)
