First class operation and they care about the pets. The front desk staff are nice and attentive. Damien is great technician - my doggie loves him and Dr. Lewis is amazing. She removed cancer growths and the recovery was perfect.

Very professional and helps with local Humane Society. Go there multiple times a week. Always happy to say hello.

The young man who helped with my brother’s dog today was exceptional. He was so loving and kind with her. He clearly has a natural way with animals. I apologize that I don’t know his name. Gigi was his patient and I want to tell him how awesome he is.

Had a great experience a couple of weeks ago when we brought our newly adopted kitten. Everyone was so friendly and both my kitten and I felt very welcome!

My dog was viscously attacked at my apartment complex today and Campeche Cove Animal Hospital was wonderful. The front desk (Mrs. jones I think) went above and beyond to calm me down after an extremely traumatic experience. I just moved to Galveston so I know no one and was alone when I arrived. She consoled me, offered tissues, snacks, beverages. The vet and technicians handled my pup wonderfully and it was so reassuring that my pup trusted them after what we had just went through. Called with a simple question about my cat leaking urine after JUST having been neutered. It had just been done by a clinic that had already closed so I called Campeche cove for some information. Maureen was impatient with me. Once I told her that the another clinic did the neutering she asked “Then why are you calling us?” Didn’t wait for me to finish my answer before asking the next question. Might not be a big deal to other people, but for someone who is very worried about their animal, you don’t want to hear the lady over the phone catch an attitude with you. I just wanted to know if

I can’t thank Dr. Maria and Damian for their kindness and help. We brought our senior Great Dane in with a health scare, and were so pleased with Campeche Cove and its staff. I loved the way they treated and talked to my boy. My husband and I are so glad to have found a great vet so close to home.

It's OK though because I definitely found the best place for my Bunny they're definitely given him the best care

Not happy with this clinic. I have been bringing my dog Max here for over 3 years. When I took him this month for his yearly check up and shots it was like he had never been here before. The vet had no clue of his history. When I go to my doctor he has a file on me and knows my history. This vet did not know anything about Max. It was like he had never been here before. Not impressed. Will never come back or recommend. Plus they are way overpriced. Plus made me wait in parking lot 2.5 hrs. Not happy. Looking now for a vet that actually cares for my dog.

Do not take your puppy here. No idea how they are with older dogs, but I took my puppy here for her first vet appointment since taking her home. They didn't test her stool on the first visit even though I had told them she was having diarrhea. They gave her a de wormer and sent us on our way. She continued to have diarrhea and began throwing up, and was not eating. I brought her back along with a stool sample, which they didn't even test- they claimed no one reported I brought stool in. They sure did have fun giving her a bath though, without my permission. Keep in mind she was only 2

We travel full time and often find it hard to find a vet to allow a drop off so they can work your pet in. Super nice people, the vet herself called to give us a update, within 3 hours they had her in and the vet came into the room and talked one on one. I'd go back anytime we're driving trough.

Extremely disappointed in this clinic. The staff is rude and dishonest. Overcharging seems to be common practice and veterinarians do not return calls.

Very compassionate and caring vet. Vacationing here and needed our puppy's cast to be checked. She x-rayed and let us know our pup could get her cast off. Perfect timing for her first trip to the beach. Highly recommend this vet and clinic.

Today was second visit for my little buddy with his back pain. First trip turned out to be prostate. This trip he did actually have some spinal issues. Dr. Cole immediately diagnosed the problem and applied chiropractic measures and acupuncture. He walked in with his tail between his legs in pain and walked out his old self. He just ate first good meal in 2 1/2 days and seems to be doing wonderful. The staff is tremendous there and Dr Cole is wonderful!!

This place is awesome. I found a wounded bird that had been hit at about 7PM, past their closing time, and they still had staff there when I called and waited for me to bring the bird in. Really good service and saved an animal's life!

We were in Galveston for the week and had brought our kitty cat. When we were leaving our rental unit, we wanted to go play on the strand and needed a babysitter for our kitty. They were very accommodating, nights, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend using them.

We've been using this vets office now for the last 4-5 months since we moved here. As far as the actual care for our 2 dogs, it's been good. Sometimes we do have to call them when they've said they'd call us but other than that, it's been good.
What is not so good is, if you order anything through them such as medicated dog food, or flea prevention and they're out, it seems like such a complicated process.

Transferred care of my 3 fur babies (2 senior pups, 1 kiddo!) to Dr. Cole & staff a few weeks ago. What a delight to find the professional, caring pet advocates @ Campeche! We have needed their assistance recently; comprehensive review, thoughtful explanations & solutions offered. Physical plant is beautifully designed & maintained with picturesque views of wetlands. I am aware of Dr. Cole's commitment, as well, to the needs of Galveston Humane Society & their "spay/neuter" program - she is a local gem.

I just adopted two kittens (brothers, 2 months old) from the Humane Society and sadly both turned out to have Upper Respiratory Infections. I called first thing on Tuesday morning and right away was impressed with the professionalism and speed at which the staff scheduled my boys to be seen right away.

The office itself is very clean, is very comfortable, for both pet and owner, and looks great! The minute we walked into the door we were greeted in a friendly manner. We barely waited at all before we were taken to an exam room and the doctor was in checking my babies out faster than I have ever

So I usually take my baby to another place, but since I couldn't get her in I decided to come here for the emergency. We walked in and I notified the people it was our first time there. We were put in a room and left there while the workers talked and laughed outside the room. We waited for about 10 minutes before someone came in to help us and fill out the paperwork. On top of that the room smelled like pee, it was pretty bad. The worker who had put us in the room gave mt puppy cat treats and called her a bad girl when she wouldn't eat them.

When we went in for our first visit at the beginning of the week, Dr. Cole was amazing with my Kitta Kidd!!!! She was gentle, caring, willing to listen, and she took her time with our appointment. I walked out a lot less anxious knowing that I have done enough research to provide Kitta with the best care possible for the time she has left & Kitta left feeling like a new pup after having her first chiropractic adjustment!!!!!! She felt so good that she ran straight outside to play ball when we got home!!!!!

We were visiting from out of town and took our dog to Campeche for an ear exam, we suspected an infection. Something seemed amiss from the moment we walked in the front door. The receptionist was nice enough, but the vet tech and doctor were odd and unprofessional. Our dog was treated roughly and yelped twice when the doctor pushed the ear instrument too far in her ear. We took our dog to The Animal Clinic for a follow up and they were wonderful. Do yourself and your pet a favor and avoid this clinic.

This place is amazing! One of my cats got sick and needed surgery and they were great. They called and updated me about her often and seem to really care about her. The doctor even called to check on her after we took her home. Very reasonable priced too. If you live on the island and need a vet, this is the place to go!

First visit to Dr. Cole at Campeche Cove Vet clinic. New to town and found the clinic to be so comfortable and the staff very helpful. Dr. Cole was vey hands on and thorough with my dog. You can tell she loves being a vet. Location is great and easy to get to and park.

I can't say enough about how compassionate Dr. Hinze and her staff have been during the terminal illness of my toy fox terrier baby. From the very beginning, Dr. Hinze explained the progression of Angie's disease, explained all of our options and gave advice on how to keep her comfortable and ourselves calm. She is the only vet that Angie has ever allowed to examine her, and right from the start. Dr. Hinze has a very calming presence, and always made me happy because of how sweetly she talked to Angie everytime we visited. She even personally called to check on Angie and spent quite
