Hi Zachery, We know you're new around here, but look forward to your residency - reach out if you need anything along the way! I have lived at The Villas since September, always had my own home. I so enjoy living in The Villas, they are so spacious and very nice. I love the upkeep and if you have a problem or concern the people take very good care of it.
Appointments are preferred, so our leasing staff can make sure the right unit is available to show you. Online video tours are available for every type of unit, however! Our office located on-site and is very accessible, Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. If you provide all the necessary documents at time of application, approval decisions are usually made in 48 business hours.

I moved in here in Aug, 2020, an upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa. I really enjoy living in this community, feel very safe, and they take such good care of you and the buildings and landscape. So nice, Armondo is excellent as is Mike, always very helpful and get the jobs done. Deanna,, Clarissa, and Cooper are always so friendly and helpful. I made a very good choice coming to live here. I have lived at Hawthorne for about 4 years now. My experience living here has been nothing but exceptional.
Maintenance : The service team have been always been available within the 24 hrs of raising a request
Leasing office: The community manager Carisa Richardson is the best. She has always been understanding and helpful to the tenants.
Location: With a school within a block, a good lake view, it is a good location for the price point and very safe neighborhood

I love the units themselves, so nice! Love they are sistered with Shenandoah which are also well taken care of. With that said, my experience with them was frustrating. I filled out an application with flexible move in time, knowing I wanted to move but had no rush to do so. I have no criminal history, excellent credit but I am self employed so to make it easier I had a co-signer. Still would not approve me, insisted on a rental reference from a place I had not lived at in years but was on the lease with my grandma still. To this day, they just never got back to me. There was absolutely no reason

Ok, I’m blown away. I just moved in, and I can honestly say the whole experience so far is 5 ⭐️ all the way!!!
The online application and leasing steps were quick, efficient, and stress free.
The communication with my leasing consultant, Denea was PERFECTION. Most of our interaction was through email, but I never had to wait long to receive a response to every question I had, and there were a lot. She was attentive, patient, and helpful with every little thing. Best of all, this lovely lady had such an amazing attitude.
The day of move in I was lucky to meet all three of the leasing staff

I have lived at Hawthorne for 4 years and have loved it! I am purchasing a home, so will be moving out at the end of my lease. They were so understanding and supportive. Carisa is especially helpful and friendly! The few times I had to call maintenance for minor repairs, they always came and fixed it the same day. I love the upkeep of the "neighborhood" of duplexes and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent!

I have rented one of the condos from Hawthorne Properties for almost 5 years. My husband and I love having the yard but not having to take care of it ourselves. The maintenance team has been the same since we moved in and they are all skilled at what they do. We feel very well taken care of because when we call the office for anything, they're quick to help us no matter what the issue is. Our grand kids love to come visit and use the pool in the summertime too. Our neighbors are all friendly and the neighborhood has a safe, community feel. We love our home so much.

Terrible staff. Very kind at first, but two-faced. One shared private information about other residents to me while 'gossipping' and getting to know me. The Property Manager knows of security issues, doesn't inform residents and the property is borderline negligent in securing the safety of residents in an area seeing a lot of growth and which is right next to the interstate.

I moved to this community in 2014 and have loved living at Hawthorne for nearly 6 years. My husband passed in 2018 and I decided to stay because the office and maintenance staff feel like extended family and have always taken wonderful care of me. I feel safe and comfortable here too. My 2 bedroom apartment has plenty of space (more than I now need) and I know if anything happens, Mike will be over immediately to help me. I can't imagine living anywhere else but Hawthorne.

I have lived here for 2 years and I absolutely love it! I worried about feeling safe, living alone in a new town, but there are no worries - I know I made the best decision possible. I feel so safe and secure! The location is also perfect, just outside of town and 5 minute drive from shopping, groceries, hospital, etc. Anytime I have needed anything, the management office gets it taken care of right away. (And seem so happy to take care of me.) The staff is absolutely so friendly and very helpful. And they really care about getting everything done ASAP. The maintenance and grounds people make it

I lived here for two years after moving from out of state. Believe me, we looked at every apartment complex in Kokomo and almost all in Lafayette. Hawthorne was brand new, smoke-free, clean, and Sandie was very friendly in the office and on our tour, to my move out. To this day, after over 10 years of renting apartments, this was my favorite place I ever lived and I recommend it to everyone I know moving to the area. The bedrooms have huge walk-in closets, the balcony is large, and the storage room is very big too. The bathrooms are also nicely sized with a linen closet, there is a coat closet

Love living here! I have been here for four years now and will continue as long as I'm in an apartment. They are spacious, clean and the staff is amazing! The new management has made so many positive changes. Maintenance is always on top of everything. The community is clean and I've never felt unsafe at night walking alone with my pup. Definitely would recommend living here!!

Also, someone threw up in the hallway over the weekend, never cleaned up after themselves (shame on them) and when management was informed that same day, they said it would have to wait until Monday. It's now been 6 days and the vomit is still there, smelling awful every time it rains or gets hot/humid. Which it does being it is July. And they threw up in areas that make it impossible to access me and my neighbors apartment without stepping/jumping over the
