Goose Rocks Beach is a very quiet section of Kennebunkport, located on the outskirts away from town. Beautiful, Bermuda type three-mile long beach with views of islands and offering small tidal pools for the young children to enjoy. A part of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge protects the area and habitat.
Biddeford Pool is a beautiful coastal town here in southern Maine, along the banks of the Saco River near the Atlantic Ocean. It is the site of Maine's first recorded permanent settlement, 1616-1617. It is about 6 miles southeast of the City of Biddeford and Kennebunkport is about 3 miles to the southwest.
This two-mile sweep of sandy beach in Biddeford extends along the open ocean from Biddeford Pool to Fortunes Rocks, offering you plenty of room to stretch out, relax, swim and play. Wave sports such as surfing, bodyboarding, skim boarding and surf kayaking are popular here and the hard-packed sand is great for walking and jogging.
Just south of Fortunes Rocks is Granite Point, boasting several private coves consisting of sandy beaches. These beaches are perfect for total privacy and also for small children as the waters are calmer in these inlets. You are only a short walk away from cove areas and boat launch for boating and kayaking.
Hills Beach is a 500 yard-stretch of quiet, sandy beach on the northern side of Biddeford Pool. Birdwatching is a popular activity because of the proximity to the wetlands of Biddeford Pool. Located at the mouth of the Saco River this location offers many opportunities to canoe, kayak and fish. During the summer months one can watch fireworks over the ocean from Old Orchard Beach.

My family has been working with and renting from Sand Dollar (and specifically Heather Motes and her staff) for decades and we have always been extremely pleased with the service and professionalism and of course our overall summer vacation experiences and memories on Goose Rocks Beach. Our week on GRB each summer are simply magical and our favorite tradition each summer.
