Our on-site management office helps our owners rent their one- or two-bedroom cottages when they are unable to enjoy time at Summer Village themselves. Cottage owners must meet our high standards to participate in the rental program and commit to fully furnishing and equipping their cottages. Our on-site staff makes sure that your cottage is ready for you when you arrive and is happy to assist you during your stay.
The Cottages at Summer Village is a gated 3-season cottage community just minutes from the sandy beaches of Wells, Maine. It is located on former farmland tucked off of Post Road, and combines easy access to the beaches, shopping, restaurants, and other amenities of Wells and Ogunquit, Maine. The cottages are carefully sited throughout the community for privacy while providing easy access to the many on-site amenities.
Job Summary: The Maintenance Assistant reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for assessing and addressing aspects of maintenance related to the common area buildings, grounds and cottages at Summer Village. The Assistant must be organized and reliable in completing assigned tasks.
The work must be completed with an attention to detail in order to ensure that the Summer Village's common areas, property and rental cottages are maintained in an orderly fashion for our owners and guests which is a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

We had a great trip here. The place is beautiful, lot of fun activities for families. Having a 2 bedroom cottage with a family is very helpful. The prices aren't cheap but you get a lot for your money. Every cottage is different, some are better upkept then others inside, so look closely at the pictures. Also make sure to check the map so you know where your cottage is, its a big place so some locations are better for different people (such as near the kids or adult pools).

The places are ok - nothing to write home about. Pools are nice and location is good, but wouldn't stay here again because the management is awful - please don't expect any customer service or even friendliness really. We had some clothing ruined by their maintenance and they wouldn't even acknowledge emails or call us back, and every time we went to the office they said someone wasn't available right now but would get right back to us, which never happened after over a week of attempts.

Our friends's highly recommendation over the years, we finally went there first time. After 5+ drive, and when arrived and checked in to our cottage, owner shows up out of blue and wanted to move in the cottage that we rented (cottages are privately owned, but owners rent out the week when they are not using, and signed rental contracts). That was, of course a bit disappointment, since the cottage we rented close by our friend's cottage, we did not want to move out to another one. But awesome Melanie (Rental Manager) steps in, and tells the owner that he did not blocked out the dates he supposed

Great family vacation! Site has many facilities & activities for all ages. Each cottage is different, ours had too much furniture and dust collecting trinkets. Kitchen was well furnished and appreciated after a day at the beach. Nearby beach parking ( 10-20 min drive or bicycle) have fees. (No fee for bikes). Bed linens are not included in price and even if it is well documented in the communication with the reservation desk, we forgot ours....

This place feels like home away from home for sure. My baby girl walked for us for her first time last year here and we couldn't not have a summer with out coming back. There are like 3 pool areas and several playgrounds for the little ones. Everyone is super nice. They have little events to keep everyone entertained. The cottages are cute and everyone is a little different so find the one that suits your needs. We had a one bedroom last year and went to a two bedroom this time around. The best thing is probably the location between trolleys and shirt 10 minute drives you can get to several different

The cottage we stayed in was beautiful and had great amenities. WiFi, air conditioning, cable hooked up to smart TVs. The grounds were equally enjoyable. The pool areas were clean and the water temperature was perfect. Loved the trolley system at the Cottages and in Wells and the surrounding towns. Negated the need to drive most places. 100% recommend, and I would stay here again.
