To relax wrinkles, lines, furrows and folds and ease excessive perspiration Used for over 20 years, Botox is a safe, muscle-relaxing agent used to treat unwanted, dynamic wrinkles of the face. These include forehead lines, crow's feet, frown lines between the brows, cobbling in the chin and banding in the neck.
A skin cancer screening is full-body examination of the skin. During the exam, the patient undresses and puts on a gown to allow the entire skin surface, including the palms and soles and scalp to be checked for suspicious growths. The exam is quick and painless. Some people may be apprehensive about being completely undressed in front of a doctor or nurse.
We offer occasional Saturday hours and even has early morning and evening hours on Mondays. View our schedule to book a Saturday appointment. Saturday appointments require a $50 non-refundable fee to be paid at time of appointment scheduling. This fee will be applied to any applicable copayments, deductibles, or future treatments.

On December 14, 2021, I visited the Skin Specialist in the Allen office. I initially went there to purchase products, but had questions about other services. Not only was I able to get an appointment, but was seen immediately by Amber. Amber is a true professional. She answered all my concerns. She also provided brochures on the services I inquired about. After additional research, I will decide if I want to go through with those services. Thank you Amber.

Everyone was professional and courteous. I received information that was somewhat useful. However, I am very disappointed that I didn’t get seen by Dr. Rodgers as I requested. I’ve had this appointment booked for a couple of weeks and was looking forward to speaking with her. I didn’t appreciate not being made aware of the change, especially after having paid for the visit. Additionally, I didn’t like that the answer to most of my questions was “we could write a prescription.” I came to this clinic to learn about my skin, not just slap on products. I don’t plan to return.

Stellar service. They listened to all of my questions and provided service and medications to help resolve some of my more urgent skin concerns. The PA and other team members were kind and incredibly thorough/efficient as they moved quickly in servicing my needs, which I appreciated since I was visiting in between meetings. I have two follow ups in the next couple of weeks and can honestly say this is the best experience I’ve had when visiting a dermatologist/ skin specialist. For once I feel like the team here added value to the services I’ve received in the past. I am looking forward to future

Today was my second visit with Dr. Howard. She is super nice and talked me through a procedure that she made completely painless. I feel confident that I will get an accurate diagnosis with my issue. The front office was super nice and professional. I appreciate their strict policy with mask wearing and cleanliness. They even have one pen per patient. I accidentally put my pen back in the new pen place and they cleaned all the pens again. I'm vaccinated but I have several autoimmune diseases so i'm thankful they take such precautions as we really don't know the long term effects of covid. Five

I had a pilar cyst removed from my scalp at this facility in November 2019 and was left with a bald spot about the width of a dime. I was told at the time that the hair around it would grow until it was almost unnoticeable. It was only until about a year of that not happening that I realized that wouldn't be the case. I feel pretty strongly that I wouldn't be dealing with this if Skin Specialists of Allen had done a better job of mitigating the amount of shock loss I would experience from what should have been a simple operation. Even then, it was clear that the specialist wasn't overly familiar

I have taken my son to so many dermatologists for his eczema and never been able to stick with a treatment plan that would give him relief. Some treatment plans worked fast and others made it worst or never helped. Dr. Rodgers understood my concerns as a mother, she was patient and attentive. And she didn't rush us. I personally haven't left a dermatologists feeling confident and at ease. And my son agrees. Our fingers are crossed for a successful treatment plan. Dr. Rogers is awesome and is worth the wait.

Medical staff is incredible! Great people who have kept up with my family for years as patients. The front desk staff can be rude at times. For example, today, I was charged a $70 co-pay and the front desk worker accidentally added a zero. I pulled my card out before the $700 transaction could go through to which the staff member says “Good thing you didn’t have the funds” in front of a waiting room full of people. What an assumption to make... I’m glad I pulled my card out or I would have $700 less. The wait times used to be very long but have gotten much better and like I said, the doctors
