Our grandpa wanted to start a business for future generations. He built this hotel 30 years ago, and we are honored to manage this hotel with our family.

If I could give zero stars I would. We got to colts neck in at 2 am and the woman behind the desk was sleeping with her mouth open. It smelled musty. We needed a place to stay so we said, ok. We will stay. On our way to our room we noticed books about the Scottsboro boys and found it deeply disturbing. Once in the room we looked around. The window was open. We were on the first floor and found this unsafe. Then there was hair in not one but two beds. There was also dirt on the floor in the bathroom. The icing on the top was when the lights started flickering in the room. We informed the front desk

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Rooms were as clean as can be; I always inspect the bed and the bathroom as soon as I check in at any hotel, and it totally looked pristine. The breakfast was excellent. I’d also note that the ambience of the hotel was fantastic; quiet, peaceful, and good vibes with all its greenery surrounding the property. Solid location as well, 20 minutes from the shore and not too far off of route 18. Finally, I’d like to note that the front desk woman who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to come back here again whenever I am back

Don't let the somewhat run down appearance deter you. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. Sure, the property could use some renovation but it's not a deal breaker. Our room was very large and easy accessible from the lobby. It was very quiet and had everything we needed. The breakfast the next morning was basic but well stocked and a nice bonus.

A lovely place to spend a night, or more if you prefer! The lobby is absolutely lovely with all that woodwork, and a very nice private nook under the stairs for reading or napping. They serve a nice continental breakfast in a sweet room. If you're staying more than 1 night, definitely have dinner at the steakhouse. The food there is phenomenal! The guest rooms at the inn are comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, very helpful, and very nice. Thank you for a lovely stay!
