Ordered a pink champagne cake and 1 dozen macarons for my sisters bachelorette. It was ready upon the scheduled pickup time. The cake was soft and flavorful - literally perfect! The macarons were airy and very flavorful without being overly sweet. The group knows their desserts and everyone mentioned they were the best macarons ever!

My best friend and I wanted to try something local in town. We were craving for sweets so we thought we can try this place out!
We got iced coffee & sandwiches here. Customer service was wonderful. The employees were delightful to speak to, very kind and courteous.
I personally love this place, especially their cupcakes with cream cheese frosting!!
10/10 recommended. Very respectful & a great family business.

I ordered a cake for my daughters 6th birthday. It was a very cool looking cake and she was happy with all the sparkles BUT...
When I ordered the cake i initially asked for vanilla inside only and after talking to the lady she said she could make the cake colors inside. My concern was that there would be a taste of food coloring and she assured me that would not happen so i agreed.
Unfortunately the cake had a pretty strong taste as well as an after taste of food coloring. It was not even close to as good as the cake (plain vanilla) i had ordered for her the year before. It left quite a strong

This is one of our favorite places to visit. It's a lovely wonderland of delicious sweets served as art. My daughter and I like to have breakfast dates here that are complete with a cupcake for dessert. The assortment of cupcake flavors always leaves me wanting to return to taste more. One year we ordered a mermaid cake (custome to our flavor preferences) and it was so beautiful that cutting into it felt destructive to a sweet smelling work of art. The cake was delicious!

If you are looking for a place to order your wedding cake from- look no further! Cute Cakes has the most wonderful selection of flavors. Our tasting was so fun and there were so many combinations to try!
We ended up with a four tiered cake:
- vanilla with strawberry/raspberry jam
- chocolate with white chocolate mocha custard and chocolate ganache
- almond cake with latte macchiato mousse x2
Try the almond cake!! It was our very favorite and definitely not something we were expecting to love. We even got it as our top tier so that we could freeze it for our first anniversary!

My new husband and I recently used Cute Cakes to make our desserts for our Halloween wedding and I couldn't be happier that we did!! Cute Cakes many options for wedding desserts made them stand out from other bakeries! My husband is not a huge cake person but he loves pie so when we saw that they offered mini pies as an option, he was beyond excited!! We had pumpkin and apple and our guest when crazy for them!!! We decided we didn't want to worry about cutting a ton of slices so Cute Cakes offered cupcakes as an alternative. We chose 4 flavors and our guest loved having different options

Not only is their design and execution just perfect (you can show them photos of what you are going for and they will nail it, they definitely did for us!) but they are easy to talk to, work with, and again, the best tasting cakes we ever had, and our guests at our wedding agreed.
When we first started the process it was deep in the pandemic lockdown, but they had a perfect hands free tasting box, and we just were blown away. We then were able to mix and match flavors

The worst bakery in San Diego county. I was excited to celebrate my daughter’s 30th pre-birthday with some fabulous cup cakes at Cute Bakery. Ordered them ahead of time and even picked up a few extra. The place had an odor to it when u walked in. Giving it the benefit of the doubt and bought two extra cupcakes for my step daughter only to come home and have a Cisco frosting taste, sad strawberries and soggy cookies on top after tip and purchase of 8 cupcakes and tip $46 later had to buy something different. Called Cute Cakes and spoke to Carrie who advised there regular customers had no complaints

They ruined my gender reveal! I specifically asked for PINK or BLUE cake to do a special cake cutting reveal and they left the cake ALL WHITE! Horrible experience and took away such a special moment for my family, friends, husband and I. So disappointed and cannot believe they could make an error like this!!! :( the cake was also super dry and they charged me $134 for this !!!

Let me start off by saying the shop was adorable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first cake tasting for our upcoming wedding and our venue, friends, and Yelp all have amazing things to say about Cute Cakes. We scheduled our "To-Go" cake tasting, and while the price seemed steep I understand it isn't easy to prepare so many samples for trial. The box was well laid out and everything looked amazing. Perfect and delicious wedding cake provided by Cute Cakes! The tasting and ordering process was easy and fun. Each and every person we talked to through to process was kind and helpful! They even have some cake-stands you can rent and an option to add miniature deserts. Our cake was brought from their bakery in Escondido to our venue in De Luz (about 45-60 min with windy roads) with no problem! I provided a picture of what we'd like the cake to look like and it was replicated beautifully. You have the option to let a Cute Cakes employee place your flowers, or your florist you may do as well. Great

Looking for something that's not on their original list, ask. We requested as part of our tasting, a funfetti cake. Glad they accommodated us because that's what we went with. Let me get started be saying Brandon And Marie killed it with the service. They answered our questions and made suggestions since it was our first time here, they were both so friendly and had great attitudes given the current situation. As you'll see we got a few things to try from their suggestions and boy are we glad we did!
We got the ABC toast and the breakfast burrito for our meal, for dessert we got a peanut butter chocolate

We tried them out for a wedding cake tasting and they had a table reserved with your name and date on it. Sara was our cake aficionado and she was excellent. She went over each cake and dessert in our tasting, answered all our questions and they were very accommodating. The cakes and dessert we're delicious and well worth the drive! (We're from Phoenix, AZ). Highly recommend for anyone looking to sample a cake venue - not just for a wedding but any special occasion.
