Angler's Marine Prop & Sail is an authorized Lund, Evinrude, and Mercury marine dealership in Taylor, Michigan. Along with a large selection of new boat and outboard models, Angler's Marine Prop & Sail carries a wide variety of pre-owned models. The picture to the right is from the early 1970s. As you can see, the sale price of a 4hp Johnson was $199.
A canoe was priced at $149. At the time, we also sold pop-up campers. Bob started the business in 1963 when Taylor was known as Taylor Center, long before Taylor incorporated as a City. Times have changed!

There are many reasons to choose Mercury outboard motors, most notably is the fact that they've been manufacturing high-quality outboard motors for over 70 years now. It's safe to say that Mercury knows a thing or two about how to make a superior product. There are a number of options available but each model shares some key features like top-of-the-line performance, low consumption, and low emissions.

Where should I start? Lazy lazy lazy work! This place kept screwing me and I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt because boats have issues. Ive been here enough to know that these people are to be avoided. Read and make up your own mind.
Visit 1: Brought in an older boat for lower unit work. Came home and my boats steering cables were seized. They claimed unrelated. Maybe it was but a pattern emerged.
Visit 2: Bought a new outboard from them to put on my new to me used boat. We had an understanding that they would not run the gas tank on the boat because it had old gas that had been

I brought a brand new boat from this guy. Worst sales experience of my life. Place is a dump and in my opinion the guy is one of the most incompetent lying conman I have ever tried to deal with. Stayed tuned. Once some legal stuff is sorted out you will a here about my experience. I would strongly encourage anybody who is dealing with this place to go elsewhere.. you can thank me later. More to come.....

Very nice boating supply store that has a big selection of parts and supplies at reasonable prices. The gentleman that helped me out with finding some parts I was looking for was very knowledgeable and curtious. He made suggestions as well as offered multiple options when I explained my boating project/upgrade that I was working on. I will definitely go back to this store when I am in the area and need another part or some advice.

After dropping off my motor for repair. I listed the reason on the invoice as to what parts are broken and what to replace. When I got it back they said it worked fine. Charged me $160 per hour they looked at it. And stated that they forgot to look at the invoice and forgot to replace the broken shift linkage. But would be happy for me to pay for more man hours to look at it again because they had already charged me labor just to start it up and do nothing to it. I took a half day off from work just for them to tell me they forgot to fix it. And charge me just to start it up. How can you forget

Had my boat in twice for repair this season both times I was satisfied with the service the second time I took it in for a new starter i dropped it off in the morning and by lunchtime it was done ✅ I was floored by the speed of service and the price was fair they’ve always been straight forward with me and always try to get me in and out as quickly as possible, will return for future service!

If I could I would give this place zero stars. We had our boat in two years ago for winterizing. When they had it in, they stripped the screw. After we got it home, it leaked oil all winter. We had to take it to another place to have the hole redrilled so the screw was tight. It costs us hundreds of dollars to get it fixed. The only thing they gave us was the money back for winterizing even though they admitted the tech tightened the screw to much.

Took my boat in to get my Mercury 125 outboard winterized. I liked the fact that I could set an appointment to get it done on a given day and that it was same-day service where I could pick it up at the end of the day. They were very professional and prompt. I dropped it off in the morning on my way to work and it was ready for pick-up after work. From all I could see they did a great job! Everything they did was well-documented on the paperwork. I like that. I will definitely be back again for any boat servicing needs.

If you can get your boat serviced ANYWHERE else, do so. I had the lower unit replaced in my boat here last May. It sat on their lot for over a month with zero status updates on parts availability. Once I got it back, the first trip out I noticed the top plug on the lower unit is missing. Lower unit filled with water. Took it back, they drained it, and filled with oil. The following spring I took the boat to a different service place and the lower unit was half filled with water from bad seals in the same lower unit. They essentially replaced a bum lower unit with a second bad unit and I'm
