I work in a down-to-earth, holistic way to get you through the mire and back to (or on to!) the path of the life you want. We will work together to create an approach that feels natural and supports the changes you want in your life. The aftermath of traumatic experiences can leave you vigilant, numb, terrified, or exhausted.
Feeling stuck in patterns, unable to understand why you sabotage yourself, or feeling out of touch with the person you know you can be? I can guide you to get to know all of you, and learn how to transform yourself from within.

I know from my own experiences as well as the many clients I have worked with over the years that therapy is an important pathway towards growth and healing. We will create a space where you can be open, expressive, learn new ways of seeing yourself and the world, new ways to cope with the challenges of life, and create new paths to relationship.
In my experience, there are two crucial supports integral to a good therapy practice: a good consultant and a good personal therapist. One of the things I have valued the most in my work is working with talented clinicians who have provided supportive supervision, therapy and consultation. I am very committed to ongoing personal and professional development and seek to offer to others the guidance and support that have benefited me.
Looking for general practice guidance, or support using EMDR, working with complex trauma, crisis situations, or how to integrate EMDR with IFS?. There are a number of important considerations when looking for a consultant. The first is training and expertise, as you want the person you are consulting to have the appropriate background and experience you need to grow.
As I mentioned above, working through the challenges of our field in light of the personal challenges we face in life is so important. There are a number of important things to consider in finding a therapist for therapists and other service professionals. The first is finding a trauma-informed therapist.
I occasionally supervise clinicians who are candidates working towards their independent license. Because of the legal responsibilities that supervising someone for licensure involve, I am very selective about who I work with in this capacity. Fit is very important when choosing a supervisor/supervisee relationship!
