The mission of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association is to support mental health practitioners by promoting the development of psychological theory and mental health practice which encompasses a full understanding of the human person, family, and society in fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Services
Thank you for your interest in the Catholic Psychotherapy Association! We are an interdisciplinary group of over 500 clinical, academic, clergy, religious, student and affiliate members with a common interest in promoting the integration of evidence based mental health practice with the Catholic anthropology of the human person.
CPA membership offers networking opportunities to learn, encourage, support, and pray with each other via a members Listserv, Special Interest Groups, Regional Networks, and Local Chapters. Members are encouraged to contribute scholarly work and writing that is relevant to the mission of CPA through a Call for Proposals each July in preparation for the next year's conference.
Donations may be made online: Called to Be Saints giving levels listed below. To avoid automatic online payment fees to the CPA, donations may be made by check or money order. The Catholic Psychotherapy Association is proud to offer live and on-demand opportunities for continuing education that reflect the Mission of the CPA and meet the identified educational needs of our members. Live events include our annual conference and webinars scheduled approximately 6 times annually.
Clinicians, academics, students, and persons working in related fields join the Catholic Psychotherapy Association for many reasons.
