Hello, I'm Amanda, the owner and event manager at Queen Anne's Loft. I was born and raised in Newport, RI and love living in the area! I have over a decade of experience in events management with a degree in Hospitality and Events Management from Endicott College. We had our wedding reception at Queen Anne's Loft in October, 2021, and Queen Anne's Loft made everything perfect! With a beautiful venue, organized team, great bar service and selection, outstanding food and perfect location, this place is the complete package. Amanda was so easy to work with from the start, and her team pulled through with 0 glitches. We left a lot of the day-of decorations up to them (with a few instructions), but we were blown away by how beautiful everything looked! Truly a wonderful experience! My husband and I used Queen Anne’s Loft for our wedding and from the time we booked to the end of our wedding celebration, it was such a smooth process! Amanda and her staff were incredible, very attentive, professional, and personable! We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate our special day! My wife and I had our wedding on 8/22/21 - the day a hurricane was going to hit Newport. Our rehearsal lunch was at Queen Anne's loft the day before. We called them that morning asking if they could host our wedding that day instead of the rehearsal lunch and they made everything work. Amanda at Queen Anne's Loft literally saved our wedding weekend. If they made a wedding with 4 hours of planning that special, I'd love to see what they can do under normal conditions. This will be our first choice to work with in Newport in the future for any other celebrations we host.

A cousin had had to postpone her wedding in 2020 for Covid, only to have her Newport-based wedding canceled for the oncoming Hurricane Henri. The rehearsal lunch was booked for Queen Anne's Loft - and they were awesome enough to accept twice the original number of guests. The ceremony was bumped up, and we all celebrated at Queen Anne's. The staff were good, the food was great, and the location was wonderful.

This past Saturday evening we were fortunate to hold our rehearsal dinner at Queen Anne’s Loft. Our original date in August of 2020 had to be postponed because of Covid-19. Although this was unsettling, Amanda made the transition to August 2021 easy for everyone. Her patience, professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills were amazing. When my plans shifted due to the COVID19 pandemic and my “large wedding” was moved to 2021, my wedding planner suggested Queen Anne’s Loft for our small reception. After seeing pictures and having viewed the venue, I did not even consider another location! This space truly has it all and could be customized easily given the simple yet upscale feel.
