Because of that we only use the most durable and longest-lasting parts. Didn’t confirm with me what was going on before going forward with repairs, and when I went to pick up my car, I was told I would ‘have a hard time not sleeping at night’ if I didn’t pay for the repairs that I didn’t approve of. This was especially frustrating because I specifically voiced beforehand that if it was going to be above $200, then I couldn’t go forward any repairs.
I ended up draining my savings account (in tears) to pay them, only to find out a few days later they didn’t even fix the problem. Complete waste of $1000+ :(

I love Green Drop Garage. I was going to their downtown location and moved and switched to the Moreland location. I've had great experiences at both. They are kind and I trust them to do a good job and be very comprehensive in their overall car check-up. I just brought my car in for an oil change and transmission flush at the Moreland location so far, but I'd trust them with any work my car needed to have done. I'm grateful to have a great mechanic so nearby!

I definitely feel like this place ripped me off and wasted my time. They charged me $275 for “diagnostic testing” they didn’t even finish, couldn’t even tell me what all was wrong with my car, they had it for almost a week and did not even replace the tire I had asked them to. They replaced and fixed nothing. They acted like they would have to have my car for a month or more and it would be probably two grand or more to fix. I think this all happened because I am a woman and I said up front I don’t know anything about cars. I just took it back from them because I don’t have two grand

This place is not worth the premium they charge. There are cheaper and better mechanics - and I've never before had one who installed a component incorrectly. GreenDrop did so three different times for me - at least they reimbursed me for the parts/multiple tows I had to get. The most recent instance was not securing a bracket bolt in my brake caliper that was installed. Within a month it had fallen out any my front brake didn't work - a serious safety issue. They didn't take much responsibility for that at all... Also, they say no questions asked on their unlimited subscriptions, but every time

I couldn't have broken down in front of a better shop. I was trying to sell my 2002 VW Eurovan and after I finished showing it, I couldn't start it. They came down and diagnosed it and had it fixed within a day. Did I mention I was trying to sell it with a bad transmission, was taking a huge loss on it, and the closest place I could find to rebuild the transmission was in Bend. I happened to mention this to the shop manager and he said we could do it! They rebuilt it AND did it for half the cost of the worst case scenario the shop in Bend quoted me. Great people, their online update system ROCKS

It's such an odd feeling to be 'taken care of' by your repair shop, as we've been trained to always be cautious with repair shops. Discovering Green Drop has changed all of that for me. I'm in their car care membership, and it's been the best thing ever, for me and my car. I'm not stressed about when I need an oil change, I just make an appointment and it's all taken care of and paid with my *very reasonably priced* membership. I'm sad to say this, but since my first visit with Green Drop, it's gone downhill and is quite disrespectful. The issues didn't begin until last year when I read on Instagram that Farhad announced that he was going to start charging new customer's a "membership fee" to join. This didn't feel right to me. They already ask for contracts and you do have to pay a penalty if you leave the contract early, so why charge people a fee to sign up who would be dedicated to a good business if it provides a good service? I let Farhad know of my displeasure about this change

I was introduced to Green Drop when I DJ'd an event for the grand opening of their Uptown location. When employees are "off duty" it can be important indicator on how a business functions. The sense of community and camaraderie at the party was awesome.

I've been to several shops across pdx and never had any issues, but Green Drop went above and beyond. I don't know that much about cars and generally I'll go to a shop and they talk down to me a bit and don't take the actual time to explain things. Not only that, they were very clear about what needed to be attended to now and what could wait until my next visit. I appreciated that they treated me kindly and gave me through and clear explanations without making me feel dumb. 10/10. I'll be back again soon.

My drop off time was 8:15am, but they were able to accommodate me when I got there at 8:00am. I have the monthly Car Care Membership for $18 a month and it is definitely worth it! For the past year that I have had this membership, I have only gone in 3 times for an oil change and regular maintenance. My oil changes at Toyota are normally $130 each time for synthetic oil. With the car care membership i unlimited oil changes and more! They change out my wipers each time. For my latest appointment, I've been having car troubles. I've gotten service here several times between oil changes and brakes. Service has always been polite and friendly. They haven't tried pushing or upselling any service. I recently signed up for their Car Care Membership which I think is an amazing deal for general maintenance with oil changes, lights, wipers, that cost me significantly more in previous years.

SUPER EXPENSIVE! I took my car in and they changed the battery... $450!!!! Just for a battery and the "inspection" I took my car there because is closer to my place but I rather go somewhere else with a decent price. And when I went to pick up my car, they didn't tell me anything, they didn't explain anything, no one talked to me besides the lady at the front desk and it was just to charge me. Horrible customer service and really expensive.

Showed up to get my mirror checked out for a quote ... gave them my number, never heard back. Called them again about it and they said they would contact me back, I called them multiple times leaving messages I was never actually able to set up an appointment with them. Don't know if they are just busy or we're having issues that month. Eventually went else whet to get my mirror replaced. They were polite I just truly could not get an appointment made.

I recently made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told when dropping off the car that it would take an hour and a half. I was okay with this, even though it seemed like a long time especially having made a reservation and they did not seem especially busy on a Tuesday morning.
I came back 1:20 later, and they had not pulled the car or started the service. They did quickly pull the car and begin work shortly after I had returned. In all, i think it took 1:45 for the simple service that probably takes 15 minutes to perform.
