Bradshaw's was established in 1938. Bradshaw's set the standard for auto repair and transmission rebuilds in the Portland area. News traveled fast that Bradshaw's was the place to take your vehicles for repairs, and good advise. Bradshaw's vision was to create a neighborhood shop where local residents and businesses could take their cars and know they are in good hands.
We can't imagine having someone that does not know our vehicles work on it! Bradshaw's is the only mechanics that we will let touch out vehicles and that includes the oil changes! I took my daughter's Jetta in for a complete safety check. They found & fixed several issues but didn't do anything I felt was unnecessary.
Bradshaw's is a full service brake shop specializing in using OE or equivalent brake parts. Our brake jobs include resurfacing of brake rotors with our precision on-car brake lathe, lubricating of all moving brake parts, and complete brake fluid flush. Brake fluid becomes oxidized and contaminated over time and this can cause a spongy brake pedal and corrode brake parts from the inside out.
Bradshaw's is full service shop and can perform complete tune-ups on all vehicles. Depending on the year, make, model, and mileage a tune-up consists of different components. Request an estimate for your vehicle make and model. One of our ASE certified service advisors will look up your vehicle and recommend what is due at your current mileage and provide you an estimate.
We understand that when your check engine light comes on it's never at a convenient time. In most cases you can stop by during business hours and we can scan your vehicle to see what system set the code and advise you if it's okay to drive for a day or two before bringing it in to have diagnosed. If your check engine light is flashing then it is causing damage to your catalytic converter if you continue to drive it.

Charged for a pulley that was never installed. They refunded my money but VERY SUSPICIOUS nonetheless. Also, the original problem I brought it in for wasn't fixed and when I approached Tom about it he stated "that's not really why you brought it in." Apparently, I miss work, my son misses school, I called a tow truck, waited in the street for an hour, thereby missing eight days of work, then accrued a $1,500 bill with money I don't have AND THEN FAILED TO MENTION THAT MY CAR ISN'T STARTING WHEN I FINALLY GET IT TO THE MECHANIC??!! Ridiculous!! That is literally the WHOLE REASON I brought it in

I was recommended to Bradshaws through someone else. My sons Chevy S 10 had a transmission problem. It was his first car and the beds were coming in at $4100. I took the car to Thomas and he got back to me right away and said that it was a minor leak and it would only be $1100. We only paid 3 1/2 thousand for the car so we originally thought we would need to scrap it and my son I Donely bought it six months ago. Thomas got the work done on time and I could not more be happy with their service I will always recommend Bradshaws or take my own vehicles there. After getting so many high bidsIt was

The only negative thing about Bradshaw's is how small the lot is, but they make it work! Just be careful when you park.
I've had my car fixed several times and their staff are always helpful, accommodating, kind, professional and quick. They've fixed my wheels and also helped resolve a serious emissions leak issue. My old car is running smoothly again, and if it ever acts up, I know where I'll go for help.

I moved to Portland just a few months ago and shortly after my Jeep started having electrical issue and quit running (as it turned out I needed a new battery). Not being from the area I did some research and found this place online. I called about my issue and within 2 hours they squeezed me in, replaced my battery and my car was up and running again!
Moving to a new city is scary and unfamiliar and can be hard at times finding a sense of community. The interactions I had with the staff members at Bradshaws only solidified how welcomed I’ve felt here. They were nothing but extremely kind, helpful

I took my car here because I was having issues with my brake lights. The staff were all so informative and nice! They were able to take my car on the same day and I had it back way sooner than I thought I would get it. They are affordable, fast, informative and honest! I’m so happy to find a dedicated place to take my 2014 Honda Civic in my neighborhood. This will be my go to place from now on!

I've used Bradshaws on all 3 of my most recent vehicles, every single time they do amazing work for me, and it's done right, done in a timely fashion, and at a rate that feels fair.
This most recent time my truck broke down, a major repair was necessary, I was stuck broke down in Portland and needing to get back to my small business ( )… and customers in Lakeside on the southern oregon coast.
Bradshaws came through once again! They helped me out with a rental vehicle while my truck was being serviced so I could get home and take care of things.

Wow, thoroughly impressed. My car broke down in the middle of the night, had to have it towed so I was looking for a repair shop close to home. I left my car on their doorstep and by start of business the next morning mechanics were already running diagnostic tests. I had my car returned to me that evening, running great! Molly was super friendly and helpful! The price was reasonable. I normally take my car to the dealership (25 minutes away from home) Bradshaw's is my new go-to repair shop!
