The Vue on Walnut is more like THE CROOKS AMONG US. They promise good rates and fabulous amenities but provide little help and fail at the easiest of tasks. The management is ridiculous, little to no warning on upcoming events or safety drills. Notices posted around the building, texts, and emails are filled with confusing sentences, misspelled words, and abbreviations. The property manager always leaves early, always gone on weekends, and left town for two months while both elevators were broken. She is unbelievably rude and shows little to no manners when dealing with residents. It's also unbelievably

I have lived here for a year - workers are friendly, and they genuinely care about your concerns. One thing that amazes me is they know the names of all of their tenants. The apartments are also pretty nice with a lot of amenities. My favorite part about Vue is the onsite gym. With everything included, the cost is worth it. Maintenance is also quick to respond when there are issues. I've heard of other places waiting weeks to respond to apartment issues, but that does not happen here.

The front desk staff, Sydnie and Kylah, has been super nice and understanding. I had a nightmare random roommate and they helped me a lot. One of the girls helped me move all my things out in less than 2 hours and was able to relocate to a different room. Rhonda, the new manager, has truly been an amazing manager. I requested for a fan to be installed into my room and Rhonda ordered a new fan for my room and in less than a week, it was installed. Jessie is one of the maintenance men, and he always fixes things in my apartment very quickly, almost always within hours. One time I put in a request

Absolutely loved living here this year. I was worried coming into a new apartment that wasn't even built yet, but it was honestly one of the best decisions I've made. The covered parking garage makes things so much safer at night time and even being downtown, I feel no threat or fear being at the Vue (which happens to be fully enclosed and no one can get in without a key fob).

My niece lives here and we love to go visit!!! Her apartment is beautiful and the staff is so professional and helpful. If we ever decide to move to Springfield the Vue on Walnut would be our first choice!!! Special thanks to Riley, she was amazing and gave us some really good recommendations on restaurants and other fun things to do while we where visiting!!!

My sister lives here and I will live there next year. It is a short walk to campus with literally everything available downtown. Whatever kind of person you are, the location has your needs. Definitely would recommend to anyone. With everything included like utilities, furniture, and smart TV's in every bedroom, the price is not outrageous and extremely affordable.

The apartment I had was nice but I give this one star because of Management. I have to tell them over and over to do something and they just ignore you or forget. If new residents can get past the incompetent management then maybe it wouldn't be too bad of a place to live. Prices are high too and the insurance they provide which is $15 per month is only good for the apartment building, not your personal property. I got lucky and was able to move out early. A quick message to management, change your attitude and do your damn job.

This place is a joke and you should look elsewhere. Petty fines, appliances are cheap and break (takes weeks to have maintenance fix them). Yesterday the maintenance guy threw both of our (very nice) trashcans in the garbage compactor and proceeded to be rude about it. They will tow you if you don't pro on the designated parking garage 3 blocks away. VERY overpriced, the staff is college kids and, and the managers are rude and they don't respond to phone calls or service requests, unless it's regarding rent or fines :) the pool has been under construction the whole time we have lived
