We offer North Tahoe bike rentals with hand-picked and customized bikes to deliver the most comfort and convenience for experiencing Lake Tahoe. This will greatly expedite your experience. After making a reservation you will get an email the day before your arrival to have you and the members of your party complete the Waiver(s). We are seeking a part time or full time mechanic to maintain out fleet of bike for our seasonal bike rental operation. Ability to communicate and good attention to detail. Primary duties will consist working on bikes. Keeping fleet in good, clean working order. Troubleshooting and repairing bikes. E-Bikes a Plus.

Highly recommend this spot for all your bike needs while in the area. The bikes were in fabulous condition, the process was super easy, the prices were very reasonable and we loved how helpful they were in getting us set up and understanding how to use the electric bikes and trail-a-bikes we rented. We will definitely be renting from them again the next time we’re in Tahoe!

One of the most enjoyable activities I enjoyed while in the Lake Tahoe area last week. The bikes were in good shape and easy to operate. We were given clear instructions how to operate the bikes and directions to the safe bike path along the lake. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful experience! Thank you 🙏

We had the absolute best time! We came for my birthday and the weather was beautiful, trail was great and wide and the bikes were the best part! We had such ease going up and down the trail. You get the best views! Everything went extremely well and the staff was also super awesome in helping us and explaining everything before we left and when we returned. A must do! We will for sure be back.

Vista Trail Bikes is a must do when in Lake Tahoe! This is the second time I've been in the last 12 months and the beauty and adventure of the trip never gets old. This time I had a party of 8, and Ted and his crew took exceptional care of us. So not only was the service great, but the bikes were all very well maintained and easy to use. Not one person in my group didn't thoroughly enjoy themselves. If you're in Tahoe, you cannot go wrong with adding this excursion to your list. I ABSOLUTELY recommend Vista Trail Bikes and this amazing ride!

It was really easy to reserve online and had a good selection the day of even for Memorial Day weekend. When we called the store, they said they were sold out but when we checked online we were able to reserve so not sure what was up with that. The electric bikes were easy to use and came with a lock so you could stop by the beach, which was along the path they gave you to follow. It does go along some roads with cars so do watch out for traffic but it's not too hard. The views were amazing and you could go really fast on the bike with no trouble or effort to get up the hills.

This was a ton of fun! We had never rented bikes before. We road 9 miles around Lake Tahoe with motor assist for some of the hills.
The rental process was easy, they showed us how to properly use the gears and assist feature and we were off! So fun, good workout, breathtaking views between Incline Village to Sand Harbor.
Go early, that area FILLS fast and traffic can get backed up. Otherwise I'd do it again!

Easy process and friendly customer service! Took bikes out to the lake and even got a map. Bikes are so comfortable and practically new! I loved that the bikes were black, matched my outfit haha!
Please make sure you get your deposit back as mine didn't automatically process and had to call in weeks after. They took care of the issue and even called me back to inform me! Overall great experience!

My boyfriend, small dog, and I biked the Tahoe East Shore Trail from Vista Trail Bikes and it was one of the best parts of our trip! The gentleman working there was so nice and helpful. We were able to rent a small children’s buggy for our dog to ride in and it worked perfectly. First you bike past houses that look like resorts and then the trail will take you past a bunch of places where you can pull off and access the water. It felt like we had our own private cove to swim and relax on the rocks!

DO THIS. Best part of our trip was renting these for a half day and taking the gorgeous easy path on the shoreline to Sand Harbor - which is phenomenal with its blue green waters. There's some inclines and it's pretty awesome to whiz by in the e-bike. The owner was super nice, set us up with everything we needed; even a convenient little fanny pack in the front to store your phone and whatnot. We were literally in an out in 5 minutes (I prebooked online). We rented e bikes elsewhere back in South lake tahoe and Vista trail bikes were WAY better. It let's you rev it up like a motorcycle

Ted at Vista Trail was the absolute best! He set our bikes up and showed me options I didn't know I had. Then putting everything together so my kids and I could ride safely was an added bonus. He also showed me how to access the trails from an app in my phone. I am so grateful I ended up going here, best possible service and experience! Thank you so much Ted and Vista Trail Bikes! This has been the best biking experience hands down!!! Ted is extremely wonderful and accommodating. Don't forget to go across the crosswalk to the beginning of the Tahoe East ShoreTrail else you'd end up biking on the highway. A steep incline follows, but the e-bikes make it easy breezy. We rented the bikes for the entire day and took our own sweet time to enjoy the beautiful views. Will totally do it again!

This place is a little hidden; as it doesn't have a huge display of bikes out front. But the customer service was amazing!!! They got us on our way and out the door with 5 bikes within minutes!
We went all the way thru town and to the beach easily! Most of the ride was uphill and the bikes made it so easy! Great quality! The gears were easy to use and made riding up hill so easy!!!! The water bottle holder came in handy.. it was perfect! Thank you so much for a perfect day! Dropping off was SO SIMPLE and FAST! OOOOH and the seats were actually comfortable!
