Our story began in 1969 in Pennsauken, NJ, when 58-year-old Benjamin DiBartolo realized that there was no better time to pursue his dream of starting a family-run business. Artistic and energetic in the kitchen, Benjamin was known by family and friends as a fantastic baker.
After honing his craft at The Wilton Cake Decorating School in Illinois, DiBartolo opened the doors of DiBartolo Bakery-and we've been making exquisite confections for our community ever since.Benjamin ran the shop with his wife Nina, and sons Alfred and Michael until he passed away in 1974. His sons stayed on at the bakery and kept the family tradition alive.

You know those bakeries where everything looks delicious but then you are disappointed when you taste it? Well, fear not, DiBartolo is not that bakery! The bakery is beautiful, crisp, and clean with a nice selection of cakes, desserts, and specialty items. We tried the s’mores cookie sandwich with buttercream filling and it was sublime, big enough to share! The flourless chocolate cake was excellent as was the brownie and the chocolate iced donut. The specialty cakes for weddings and special events are beautiful. There’s a few small tables for weary shoppers to sit, relax, and enjoy a treat

My cake was all wrong even after emailing updated photos and confirming. My wedding cake was still wrong. Layers wrong, design not right either. Nothing I could do once it was delivered. I emailed and called and no response from anyone. It was like it went ignored. I guess my guest enjoyed it I gave it to the staff at the event.

Really disappointed in our latest trip to the bakery. My husband and I purchased our wedding cake from DiBartolo's six years ago. Every year for our anniversary we purchase either a small cake or cupcakes to celebrate. This year my husband had a hard time getting through to anyone when trying to place the order. He was able to place the order for six large cupcakes to be picked up Saturday afternoon. When my husband arrived he was told no order was placed for them. He was offered twelve cupcakes instead that were the same kind he had placed an order for. The cupcakes were stale and hard as though

We worked with Al and the rest of the staff for our wedding cake. We had our wedding reception this past weekend and absolutely loved how the cake came out. The design process, cake tasting and coordination with our wedding venue was super smooth and easy. We could not be happier with how everything turned out !

DiBartolo's always comes through! My family's favorite bakery and we still get their cakes for most of our Birthday celebrations. 2 of my sisters switched to sweet eats but naaahhhh lol... I wish I had pics from every cake we had but they never lasted long enough lol Thank you. This time I only grabbed a few cupcakes and a premade cake that was on display for my mom's bday since she had an upset stomach all week. We usually get nice cakes made up.

A great Bakery! They do a stupendous job here. Always nice and friendly. The cakes and cupcakes always look amazing. There is a tiny bit of seating, but it’s mostly standing room only. Al and Mike are great guys. Located downtown Collingswood with meter parking on the street. Parking is free before 9am.

This bakery is a bright, clean, welcoming, and pleasantly aromatic space. What drew me here (other than the fact that this is a bakery and my sweet tooth leads me LOL) was the sign outside indicating the association with a master baker/TLC. I ordered an assortment of items to sample their work and loved the packaging; what a nice little touch. If I lived closer, I would gift their baked goods as nice little "just because" gifts or as a super cute addition to a birthday gift. I haven't been able to find (non pre-packaged) chocolate crossaints outside of Paris since my trip there many years ago,
