Services
We offer help today for a better tomorrow. Each of our providers has extensive education, experience, and expertise on the latest mental health treatment options available. Dr. Vo was born in Vietnam but grew up in Columbia, SC. He obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of South Carolina.
We understand how hard it is to get in to see a prescribing provider in a timely matter, especially one who also accepts most insurances. We also understand that most often, when you make that call to schedule an appointment, life is already overwhelming and you're typically in need to be seen right away.

If you could not tell from the already one star rating, but this place is awful to work with. I have tried to book an appointment and the wait time was 3-4 MONTHS. Then when I was told my insurance was in network, 3 MONTHS later they tried to charge me a FEW HUNDRED dollars saying it was not. My appointment was then cancelled but SURPRISE THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO BILL ME. Do not go here if you can, they clearly do not care about helping people.

Did not answer my phone calls for about 6-7 months last year. Resulting in me going through multiple different referrals to find a new doctor. However, 3 months ago I guess they were able to work a phone again to call me and request that I pay my balance, which I knew nothing about. When I declined to pay over the phone and requested a bill by mail, I received nothing. Assuming this was a hoax since they requested me to pay by phone, I received nothing in the mail, and could not get them back on the phone, I ignored it. Fast forward to last week, I received a bill in the mail, not from Sunrise

The office does not answer the phone and they do not allow messages. The only way to contact them is through email.

They claim to be in-network for United Healthcare, but they are NOT. While they assured me they were in network, I was charged an extra $100.00 because United Healthcare refused to cover my claim.

Because the office does not send out statements (I was told it was too much work), I found out about the charge through my credit card.

For months, I was assured that I the issue would be resolved, but to date, I still do not have my refund. United Healthcare told me that they

To start of Dr.Voe has been wonderful! I have followed him to 3 different practices based on his level of professionalism and quality of care. My issue is with the billing dept. I have a primary insurance and a secondary insurance which covers a majority of my Dr visits and co-pays. However I received a bill for a "no call no show fee" of $100 (that I paid) along with a $35 office visit fee (that I disputed). I requested that a research into the office visit fee because I generally don't get a bill and I didnt get a bill for the service before or after the date of 4/20/2020. I never received a

I have been a patient of Dr. Vo's since he was at Coastal Tides. Sadly, I've been disappointed several times since the transition. This last experience might be my last. I went to pick up my rx which had been called in only to find out it was never called in. I email to follow up, as I was out of meds. I was told that my rx was on hold because I didn't pay a copay. She apologized after telling me that the form to pay should have been sent to me prior to the appointment. Never mind the fact that in the ten days since the appointment nobody called me to tell me I needed to pay or my rx would be put

This has been just such a bad experience all around. No one genuinely cares about the patient, messages and emails about a really bad situation were not returned. Each time my teenager had a session, there were medical students in the room making it even harder to talk. Meds were changed about every 3 weeks and no other advice or help (e.g. inpatient treatment, TMS) was offered when medical treatment didn't help. After a yearlong struggle, seemingly going in circles, we found another psychiatrist and finally my daughter is doing well again.
I would give 0 stars, if the system would let me.

I have been with Dr.Voe since he was at coastal tides. I actually got to talk to him one on one and they actually answer the phone. First off they are only open from 9 to 12, which is ridiculous, on the other hand they don’t answer their phones and they don’t return emails. I’ve been calling for the past week and a half and I have never gotten a call back so I finally had to just go in and miss class to get someone to actually talk to me. Good thing I’m switching psychiatry places because this is absurd.

I've been a patient of Vo since he was at Coastal Tides. If I even do make an appointment with Vo, I'm going to be waiting for atleast 3-4 weeks before he'll see me. He has way too many patients and therefore isn't able to help the ones he has already. I begged the office and they would not even attempt to ask him to try and work me in sooner. Covid made it literally impossible to reach out to their office. The staff only made things worse during an already hard time for all of us. They still want to charge me $100 for a no-show for an appointment that I couldn't even call and change. I'm just

The front office ladies are amazing! LaDonna always goes out of her way to help me understand things, help me deal with insurance and medications! Their level of professionalism is way above par! The doctors are compassionate, understanding and dedicated to their profession! Best experience I’ve had in 44 years!

My daughter saw Dr Vo a few times before he moved practices. We had very long wait times at his new (Sunrise) practice (once we waited over an hour for a 5 minute consultation). In addition his billing office refused to work with my insurance company after the move and I had to pay out of pocket for services that were covered by my insurance company. Very unprofessional and would not recommend! Mental health issues are already challenging and should not be compounded by the physician's care.

First, Dr. Vo is the best. I've never found someone so professional with compassion and without judgment. Also, when I have to take my child with me he acknowledges her to, instead of just ignoring her all together like she doesn't exist, which has happened at other places. They also make sure they have plenty of educational toys for the kids to stay busy with. The front desk staff are super friendly and energetic. Also, super polite and really know how to put a smile on your face. I would highly recommend going here for all ages. Overall it has been a pleasant experience and I look forward to

I’ve been a client of Dr. Vo for almost a year and I think he’s great. However, since starting this new practice I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences with staff. So much so that I haven’t gone back to this establishment, and that makes me sad. My first time in, I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room. When I went to the desk to ask if I was next, the lady smiled and said “No, there’s a few ahead of you.” I’m sorry, but that’s unacceptable, so I rescheduled the next day and walked out without seeing him. The next morning, my boss wouldn’t let me leave work since she let

I've been with Dr. Vo for about two years - h's been great but his office staff are incompetent and I am forced to find a new provider. Office tried to charge me $100 for an appointment I needed to reschedule. This was done two days in advance of the appointment. While at the office, they agreed that I did call to reschedule and my fee would be waived. Unfortunately, 3 weeks later I receive the bill in the mail and no one in the office remembers the conversation. Luckily, I had not signed any of their paperwork indicating my agreement to a missed appointment fee. Good luck collecting - I look forward
