I was fortunate to grow up in Charleston where my family has lived for many generations. I spent my childhood playing on Sullivan's Island and sailing at my grandparents' house on Wadmalaw Island. I practiced for track on the Battery and around Colonial Lake, no matter how hot it was! My family moved to Texas when I entered high school so that my father could further his academic career.
A pre-initial appointment evaluation. This is to ensure we have a good understanding of the problem and have the clinical expertise or scope of practice to best serve you. If there is a problem beyond our skills then a proper referral to an alternate physician will be provided. 2. Twenty four hour coverage in case of emergency.
Pleasant Psychiatry accepts Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare and Tricare. Pleasant Psychiatry is an out of network provider for most other insurances. After the appointment you will receive billing forms with the diagnosis and the services rendered that you may submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.

My son has been trying for close to two months to get a réponse from their office regarding a refill Only after multiple interventions did he get a refill. He was advised to make an appointment. He called and again no response. It was time to get a refill/ a monthly need and no answer. I intervened and no réponse. This is a necessary for him to function

Dr. Summerall is the best doctor I have ever had and I feel so grateful to be one of her patients. She is brilliant, kind, and very easy to talk to. She went above and beyond to help me on a few occasions and she has greatly improved my overall mental health. I have been seeing her for over three years and I always felt very comfortable with her decisions.

I had a family crisis and called this office 2 times over the span of a week and never even got a courtesy call back. I am appalled by their lack of professionalism. If they are not taking new patients- they should at least communicate that and offer some referral advice!!! I am a new resident to the area and will never suggest anyone use your office. From the looks of these reviews (and the fact that you don't even bother to respond them) you have gotten complacent and you are looking out for this community's mental health during the pandemic crisis? God help us. You need to hit the reset button

I’ve emailed and called several times regarding the appointment I was scheduled to have yesterday 10/18 at 11:45am with Dr. Summerall. I received two text confirmations for the appointment and no information whatsoever about rescheduling prior to the appointment, so when I showed up to the appointment at 11:45am the doors were locked, the lights were off, and no one was answering the phones. I received a call yesterday afternoon from Lisa where she said that Dr. Summerall is not in the office and that we must have “gotten our wires crossed” even though I spoke with Lisa directly on 10/9 to

I started going here when it was Dr. Phelps. I was very pleased with his decision to have Dr. Lanier Summerall take over his practice when he moved out of town. I have had nothing but a great experience with her and her staff. She is extremely smart when it comes to my symptoms and pairing a medication that will work well for me- she is always on target and has been a huge help in my life! I highly recommend Dr. Summeralls practice!
