Services
As a client of Foxhall Catering, you are invited to collaborate in designing your event's menu. You are not just offered menu options. You work directly with the chef. Your tastes and preferences become a part of the creative process. Chef Eron delights in finding out where your particular tastes will carry (steer) the culinary adventure that is Foxhall Catering.

Foxhall Catering created a wonderful epicurean experience for my husband's 60th birthday party. From beginning to end, Chef Eron was helpful and communicative. After a couple of emails and a phone conversation, Chef designed the perfect menu for our evening, incorporating dietary restrictions, preferences, and (of course) chocolate! We wanted what I call a "grazing event"--casual, small plate items. We were delighted with the outcome. All the food was made from fresh ingredients and delicious. Foxhall catered our wedding at our home, and I can't say enough good things about them. Chefs Eron and Sarah came to our home and spent time with us not only discussing the menu but looking at the layout of the space and understanding the feel of the party we wanted. They took care of renting the tables and chairs and setting them up in a way that realized this vision. I found Foxhall Catering on Yelp and am back to give a rave review. Eron and Sarah catered my daughter's bat mitzvah celebrations this past weekend and I cannot say enough good things about them. We used them for both a buffet dinner for 50 and a dessert celebration for 160 and people kept coming up to me and complementing me on the food. In all aspects, Eron and Sarah were responsive, helpful with suggestions, open to working within our guidelines and made delicious food and desserts. Whoa. Came up to the address shown in the Yelp as the location and rang the buzzer. Guy with a beard answered- didn't totally seem like a caterer. He offered to grill me a Kobe beef burger on his patio for $10 cash. Super friendly, and full service! Made for a super good and intimate time with the kind chef/server/owner. Only complaint was the wait time: probably spent an hour before eating, waited for the guy to go get more propane from the Safeway. Foxhall Catering is perfection! They catered our Rehearsal Dinner for 24 in our home. Chef Eron is so calming and commanding in the kitchen.
Chef Eron and Sara created a Greek Feast for us with passed hours d'oeuvres and a buffet dinner. The menu was creative and the presentation beautiful. Last August Foxhall Catering did our son's wedding. He and his now wife wanted to get married at home in the back yard and wanted an unusual end of August meal.Chef Eron and Sarah worked with them every step of the way. They had handmade artisanal pizzas, beautiful salads and roasted vegetables, all organic and local!! And most excellent hors d'oeuvres....and desserts of hand pies made with in season local fruits... so unique and SUPERB!!!! People were raving about the food! I found Foxhall Catering searching Yelp for a neighborhood caterer. We recently moved to the Palisades and I was planning to have a small birthday party for my fiance. Chef Eron was very personable over the phone and asked to come by the house to see the space. His excitement about our small party attracted me to go with Foxhall Catering. I explained that I was interested in a Spanish Tapas themed menu; when the draft menu came back it wasn't exactly the Spanish Tapas I had in mind, but the food sounded delicious and I figured these were dishes that the Chef knew well and it would be better

Marvelous. I have never used a caterer before, but my soon to be parents-in-law were kind enough to host our 20-person engagement party at their house. I wanted to make it as easy as possible on them, and not have them cook and clean. Seriously is as good as it gets. We happened upon Foxhall Catering and Chef Eron Picus by chance just a couple of months ago while researching online for a caterer for both our yearly office holiday party and an open house our office was having a week later. The open house party literally just ended 30 minutes ago, and i felt compelled to immediately write a review. Both events were above and beyond anything we could have asked for. Foxhall Catering catered my daughter and new son-in-law's 65 person garden wedding reception this past Memorial Day weekend. We were thrilled with Chef Eron's professionalism, creativity, communication, clarity, thoughtfulness and care throughout the whole process. Oh, and did I mention the food was absolutely delicious!! Foxhall Catering catered a private rooftop birthday dinner I hosted for 16. They were organized, gracious, and incredibly friendly and patient, even as I threw them curveballs like a surprise extra guest and the event space not being ready on time. They handled everything extremely graciously and professionally. The food was great and creating the customized menu was a fun and simple process done by email. They also offered a good value for the quality of food and service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I recently hosted a birthday dinner for 8 couples at my home and I am very glad I chose Foxhall Catering to help with this event. Eron is very easy to work with and was always very responsive. All our guests really enjoyed the food and presentation. The evening went very smoothly, and we were able to enjoy ourselves without any stress knowing Eron and his team took care of the rest. I highly recommend Foxhall Catering. I've used Chef Eron and Sarah for 2 events recently--a holiday party for nearly 100 and a school benefit of 50. Chef and Sarah created delicious, beautiful food for each event. They have a knack for listening to what you need, working within your budget and truly excelling at what they deliver. We have had two formal events catered by Foxhall Catering in this past year -- an engagement party for 100 and a benefit house concert for 50. Both events were superbly executed and met the unique demands of each special occasion.

I know this review is a little dated, but Eron's Epicure wasn't on Yelp at the time (i don't think Yelp existed at the time). Eron worked very closely with me to develop just the right menu for my Bar Mitzvah. Even though it's been over 10 years I still have vivid memories of the egg rolls, asian noodles, and other delicious treats he created for me that day. If you are looking for a chef who is passionate about his work and loves providing unforgettable food experiences I would recommend "Eron's Epicure".
