We are conveniently located 1/2 block North of 80/94 on Calumet Ave. Our auto repair shop is fully equipped to provide comprehensive automotive repair services.

Tony Meier Sr., has 38 years' experience and is a Ford Certified Technician. He began his career at Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealerships before opening Meier's Amoco Service Station in 1995. In 2011, Tony moved the shop to its present location as Meier's Automotive Service. Kris has been with the company for almost 2 years now.

We will make recommendations based on the readings from our Interstate Batteries Tester.
Regular oil changes keep your car's engine running smoothly and prolong the life of your vehicle. We value our customers which is why every 5th oil change is free with four validated postcards. Meier's Automotive Service is awesome. My car broke down on the highway as I was driving back to Michigan. No idle. Luckily, I was able to drive to exit 2, get to a gas station, and park. In a panic, I call my insurance and they only pay $50 towards towing. I get qoutes of $1300-$1600 to get my car towed back to Lansing. My insurance tells me about a few car repair shops close by and I choose Meier's. Best decision ever. The next day, Meier's quickly fixed my car at a fantastic price. I was in a precarious situation and could have easily been taken advantage off. Thanks fellas for taking care of

I found Meier's Automotive by a Google search. I chose them because of their 5 star rating & I see why! Pat is always courteous. The work is done promptly and pricing is reasonable. Even when one of my repairs was done incorrectly, Pat took my car in, fixed it, no additional costs & threw in my next oil change for free! They have earned my loyalty for all my future cars. I have referred my mom and 2 of my uncles and they love Meier's as well! 5 🌟!

Hands down this is the best mechanic shop you will find in Hammond and this is coming from a man who’s tried every mechanic shop up and down Calumet, Pat is a good man he stands behind his word and his work I highly recommend doing business with him I’ve had two of my trucks repaired from him and they were all done correctly once I had an issue with the repair that he did I called him up I brought the truck back to him and he corrected it at no additional cost to me and I really appreciated that

Great experience, friendly and honest with what was needed for my daughters brakes. I finally found a service center I can trust. I had another shop quote repairing them for three times more. Like I said, honest guys and the brakes are great. Very pleased and I'm telling everyone these are the guys to go to.

The guys are great. I'm 66 years old and I usually hate dealing with shops for fear of being taken advantage of. I feel like I can trust Meier's. Everything is explained in ways I can understand.
