A few years back, a little seed was planted in my heart to have a place in my community that offered powerful yoga classes that changed lives. A place where people could come together who have a common goal to connect deeper within themselves and make relationships with like minded individuals. Vibe Yoga is that place.
Are you looking for a class that fits in your schedule right before you need to pick up the kids from school? Well, here it is! We'll start the first half of class with a gentle vinyasa flow and end with the second half of class a nice restorative to take you through the rest of your day. A vinyasa class that utilizes the breath to link each movement.
My yoga journey actually began at a Pilates studio in 2010. I was pretty much hooked right out of the gate and continued to attend one or two classes a week over the next year or so. However, it wasn't until I purchased a Groupon to Allen Yoga Center (now Vibe) in 2012 that I really discovered my passion for the practice.
Yoga entered Doris's life around 1990, when noticing, that she had stopped breathing after working in the fashion industry for a few years. She was fascinated, how moving with your breath and doing what feels good in your body, can transform one's whole approach to all aspects of life. A native German, Doris moved to the US in 2001 with her young family.
I remember the first several classes that I attended and thinking how exhausted I was. As I looked at my teacher Lorri, I was so impressed with how perfectly she did everything. As I've learned more & more about yoga, I have learned that yoga isn't about comparing yourself to your neighbor or even your teacher.

Great if you are looking for a community of women to do yoga... I'm used to the yoga studios in Denton where you probably not going to see the same people. Not being a people person myself, I actually prefer it that way because I can just go in and do yoga without people gawking at me as the new girl or trying to introduce people in the class. Really nice of them to make me feel welcome, though. Lovely yin yoga session and would for sure recommend. Another thing I kind of didn't like is I was kind of made to feel like a beginner it being my first class there. Other studios I had no problem doing

Absolutely love this studio. I had not done yoga in years but decided to give it a try. I was trying to find a gym/studio that had classes on Sunday and late weekday evenings which they do. There are all levels here. No one makes you feel uncomfortable at all. I've liked all the instructors so far especially Kat, Maria, and Tyler. I wHighly recommend!

This is in response to Kait. I'm sorry you had a bad experience at the studio. You do have 9 of your classes remaining and I would encourage you to try one of our other classes. We have 33 different classes and 14 different teachers. Maybe trying a different teacher will improve your experience. I would like to also correct that you wrote we did not offer any props. We actually have all the props you could want to use including bolsters, blankets, straps, towels & free mats for students to borrow. I'm not sure how you got the impression that we didn't. As far as cleanliness, the studio is swept

Great yoga studio. I bought a Groupon deal while I was in town for the holidays to get back into yoga since I hadn't practiced since my sophomore year of college. I bought the 10 class deal, thinking I might use all of them or get close to it, and now wish I'd sprung from the 20 class pack because I've been enjoying going to Vibe Yoga so much. I've taken classes with several instructors and they've all been great! I'm really out of shape, but I never feel judged by the teachers or the other students at the studio. It is really unfortunate that they do not take the time to update their class schedule on their website. I woke up with a serious migraine today. I was excited to try the restorative yoga class. I was going to sign up for a month of classes. I drove here from McKinney. I got here early because last time they updated the website their Saturday class was at like 12noon. (Just checked the site again...that was a February schedule...it is May) I got here at 10:52 am so that I could be early, rent a mat and have time to pay and ask questions. Class now starts at 10:45. Oh well. I'll go elsewhere

This is one of the best studios I've been to in the DFW area. The owner, Gayla, also teaches and she is just wonderful! She is extremely fair in her pricing and her and her instructors are always willing to provide extra help and guidance. It's a really supportive atmosphere, and I love coming here!

I bought through Groupon for 10 classes for $18 as I have always wanted to try yoga at a yoga studio besides the yoga classes offered at my fitness center. And I wanted to incorporate a more advanced yoga as an addition to my workout regiment.
The layout of the studio is unusual. The class is held right at the front door where people enter. The front desk is actually at the back room. As I was expecting that there's a lobby to check in.
However, the instructors were accommodating to students of all levels. They provide mats, towels, and other equipment that I did not know that

Fantastic vinyasa flow class and meditation with Amanda. She had it tough with a mixture of experienced yogis and brand-new beginners, but she was able to challenge everyone while allowing for modifications. Loved the lavender towels for the eyes during savasana and meditation- a very nice touch!

I think Vibe Yoga might have something for everyone. I really enjoy the Yin and restorative classes. The Sunday afternoon Raise Your Vibration class with an extended mediation might be my new favorite. The special gong mediation was a-maz-ing.
They have most the accessories you need or want : blocks, blankets, and straps. The lavender infused eye pillows for savasana is such a nice luxury. I wish they have sandbag pillows. :(.
Pricing policies are very competitive with lots of choices.

I've been practicing at Vibe Yoga for almost 3 months now. Since the day I walked into Vibe, the teachers were friendly, nice and helped me go further in my yoga practice. The people who practice here and friendly and most of them are talkative and interested in getting to know other yogis. I had bought a Groupon on here and let it expire but they still honored the price of what I paid for the Groupon and I got a great deal for 3 months of yoga.
