Services
Brazil-021 School of Jiu-Jitsu seeks much more than winning competition medals. Our resolution is to promote health, well-being, self-confidence, and mental toughness in a safe, encouraging, and inspirational environment to properly prepare our students for all of the challenges of life. Ultimately, we strive for the children of our current students to become our future students.
We are located across the street from the Bellaire Triangle, in between the cross streets, Bissonnet and Chimney Rock. The academy is on the 2nd floor of the building, with a green Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sign on the store front. There is parking in the front of the building, as well as in the back of the building.

I 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and all around wholesome martial arts school. Professor Marcos and Sydney go above and beyond for everyone in their school, especially the children. They have definitely helped my two daughters (8 & 10) overcome hard days, whether it be something outside of martial arts, or in class. They have suprised me with how much they have learned and accomplished over the last year and a half. We love that we don't feel like just another number here, here we feel welcomed.

I've had my 2 kids enrolled at Brazil-021 for the last year and the school has positively impacted our children's lives. Professor Marcos and Sydney are very professional, friendly, patient, and detailed. Professor Marcos uses his experience to teach his students not only Jiu-Jitsu on the mats, but key lessons in life such as, manners, respect, discipline, and self-esteem. The kids love going!
When Jiu-Jitsu is taught CORRECTLY, not only will they have the skills on the mats, but skills to succeed in life, and you'll notice it if you've been to other schools.

Professor Marcos, Sydney, and the entire Brazil 021 team have been such a blessing to our family. My son (7yrs old) started here with zero experience and a bit of a discipline issue, and in less than a year Marcos has got him absolutely LOVING jiujitsu, listening, and being a model student in class. Marcos is fantastic with the kids and Sydney is so accommodating with families who have multiple kids and are trying to coordinate getting everyone to various places. This is a safe and fun environment that is well worth your money. They love and nurture your children and actually teach them the skills

I highly recommend Brazil-021. In just 3 months I have discover things that I thought were gonna be really hard for me to learn and do. Professor Marcos Cerqueira and his team are great instructors and professionals in what they do. From day 1 I felt welcome. My advise is that if you’re looking for a great program of Brazilian jiu jitsu then this is definitely the place to be.

I have been training at Brazil-021 for the past 2 years and I honestly don't think there is a better school around. When i first started I was 36 years old with a Dad Bod looking to get into shape and learn a martial art. Since that time i have been continually impressed with the instruction, structure, and community that has been a part of my training. Professor Marcos is from Brazil, has over 20 yrs experience, and has a great training curriculum for all his students. I don't think there is any Academy better to learn BJJ. An additional benefit to training here is the great people I have met

What's a great place! I travel a lot and always try and train at different schools. When I called the school the staff was super friendly and provided the info I request. When I walked in the staff remember my name from the call which really impressed me. The school is every well designed and very organized and super clean. Everyone came up to me and greeted me and showed me great respect at the school. I felt like I was training at home and felt like I was part of the family. Amazing academy! Professor Marcos is the real deal. He lives the Jiu Jitsu on and off the mats. You’ll get nothing but his best every single day. My son has been taking classes at Brazil 021 for 18 months now and has really learned a lot and enjoyed it. Professor Marcos and Coach Derry and Coach Danny have been great with him. Professor Marcos really makes an effort to not only train the students but teach them discipline, perseverance, and hard work.
