Kyle Hahn started his recycling career as a college student, working as the Recycling Coordinator for the Southwest Texas State University (now called Texas State University). At the time, the university accepted recycling from the public at a facility in the stadium parking lot. In 1995, the university closed its facility to the public, prompting Kyle to strike out and start his own recycling company.
Green Guy Recycling offers a prompt and professional roll-off dumpster service. With 20,30, and 40 yard dumpsters available, we are sure to have the right size for your job site needs. Our roll-off clients include demolition and remodeling companies, manufacturers, automotive shops, distribution centers, and individuals in need of large-volume material removal.
Jeremy is the owner of Green Guy Recycling. He was a Texas State student when he was hired on as a part-time route driver for the company in 2005. He was quickly promoted to Operations Manager where he directed the logistics and daily operations of the company. After 10 years of service, Jeremy purchased Green Guy from the company founder and remains the sole owner of the business.
Green Guy Recycling understands that your time is valuable. We have a fleet of dynamic equipment and attachments, we can quickly unload your material and get you back on the road. Our high-volume processing equipment allows us to efficiently prepare your material for shipment. We pass on our lower processing costs to our customers by maintaining highly competitive purchasing prices.
Green Guy Recycling has several options for payments. Most customers are paid in cash at the time of the transaction. Checks are also available for commercial customers. In accordance with State of Texas Metal recycling laws, first-time customers are paid with a check. Commercial customers also have the option to authorize certain employees to receive payment.

Just as quick and easy as I researched! They ARE open 24/7 for regular household recycling (not trash) like tin/aluminum cans, car fluids and batteries, cardboard boxes, paper glass and plastic bottles. 24/7! The place is lit up like a lil football field at night.
For the most part, the things you want to sell will have to wait until 8-5 mon-fri and 8-12pm Sat.
The crew are as helpful and friendly as the other reviews say. I'm so glad I was referred here by a neighbor 😎

This place is awesome all the staff there are cool and friendly other places you go to everyone's all mad they have to work in the sun but these guys are down to earth and the people at the office are really friendly too prices are great if you want to recycle and get some extra cash and there's tons of gas stations and food around the area

The staff at Green Guy are always helpful, friendly and very professional. I have been to other recycling centers however I don't believe ever having the same excellent experience I do at Green Guy. Their center is always clean and well organized. I highly recommend Green Guy to anyone. From my observation Green Guy is truly concerned for our environment and it shows.
