Platinum Recovery & Recycling uses its own, patented technology to decan catalytic converters, which allows maximum recovery. All ceramic substrate is crushed, milled and sampled according to rigorous guidelines. Assaying is the process of determining the concentration of precious metals contained in ceramic substrate.
Both ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectometry) and XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis are used on substrait samples from each shipment to determine exact amounts of precious metal content. Platinum Recovery & Recycling's laboratory has individually analyzed more than 15,000 scrap catalytic converters.

So I get to this place and the two customers in front of me have two catalytic converters and the guy says the lowest they normally go is 35 and they can go up to 180 something a converter and me I had four converters and someone else comes out and takes mine and prices them at 35 dollars each but comes back to me and says that two of them are a cheaper set of three the third one is a little more expensive and then he goes to the office without checking the other two and give me 35 dollars each and I kinda expected to get a little more than 143 dollars so if I were yall I would take ONE catalytic
