You can expect honesty, integrity and compassion from everyone you meet here. Dr. Karkheck was raised on a horse farm in Ida, MI. She studied Mathematics and Animal Science as an undergraduate at Monroe County Community College and Michigan State University.
Dundee Veterinary Clinic provides routine preventative health exams, vaccinations, microchip placement and registration, parasite exams, routine blood work and radiographs when indicated. We can guide you through selection of heartworm, flea and tick prevention options to make keeping your pet covered a cinch.
Our best friends deserve kind, compassionate care. At Dundee Veterinary Clinic, we treat every dog as if it was our own. We are focused on providing a stress free environment for a positive patient experience with every visit. Skin problems can be short lived or ongoing. We will work with you to find the best solution to diagnose and treat your dog's skin condition while minimizing medication side effects.
As cat lovers, we know that your feline friend has unique needs. We are committed to providing specialized care for cats and are actively working to make sure your cat's clinic visit is comfortable. When necessary, our hospital is equipped and ready to perform surgery for many situations. We are here to walk you through all aspects of surgery, including our pre-surgical plan, the necessary procedure, pain management, and recovery.

Our visit went very well. The staff is kind, compassionate, and understanding of our "anxious Kane." Jordyn is great with Kane. She greets & pets him, he actually calms down and goes right in room. Also, Dr. Schenk communicates and is very informative; while listening to our concerns about Kane. We never felt hurried or rushed! We usually dread taking Kane for his yearly Vet. visit, but it was a GREAT visit.

I just started with the Dundee Veterinary Clinic with my 2 senior dogs. This is an amazing place! I highly recommend this place. I love the fact that the Vet comes outside to talk to me to explain what is going on with my dogs. She never rushes but takes her time. The staff are all very pleasant as well. I wish I would have started there earlier with my dogs!

I’ve taken our dogs there for 3+ years now and LOVE everyone at the Dundee vet. I love the new doctor in the office, I wouldn’t ask for anything more from them. The whole staff is so great and knowledgeable! They are Happy, friendly and always so fast to answer our needs:)

I want to give a HUGE shout out to the wonderful staff at Dundee veterinary clinic! my puppy took a tennis ball straight in the eye and less than an hour later the staff managed to get him in and treated, and sent us on our way with medication necessary to heal his scratched eye! I highly recommend these beautiful people and their compassion for our fur babies! Much love for them!

This veterinary clinic is amazing to work with. When I got a puppy I called them right away, while the dogs history was a little unknown, the vet double booked herself to ensure our puppy was in good health. After the first appointment, she even called a few days later to check in! The clinic also has an app for phones to help manage all out your pets medical needs such as requesting appointments and setting reminders about medications. I was also very impressed with the pricing and quality of care. I will definitely not bring my dog anywhere else

I admit, I called Heritage Animal Hospital first as they were open on a Sunday. They might as well have been closed. I called first thing in the morning. Their response was cold and lacking empathy. Booked for days I was told. Go to an emergency clinic I was told. Since I felt Lucy wasn't sick
