Dr. Laura Goodell has been practicing pediatric dentistry for over eight years. Dr. Goodell grew up in the Madison area and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a dual degree in Psychology & Neurobiology. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Dr. Paula Gomez was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to Iowa City, Iowa when she was eight years old. She graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a B.A in Studio Arts. Dr. Gomez continued her education at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Dr. Melissa McGrier was born in Brookfield, Wisconsin and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She graduated with honors from Eastern Illinois University with a B.A in Biology. Dr. McGrier continued her education at The University of Louisville College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

We just had our first visit with my 2 year old son. We had a great experience. They are very informative and know how to work with the little ones. My son also had a (mostly) great time! He got a little upset during his cleaning, but not bad and it wasn't a problem. He clearly wasn't too bothered, because he didn't want to go home when we were all done!

Today was my daughter's first visit. She's normally very nervous about dental visits. But today was different. The staff was very welcoming and my daughter's eyes lit up when we walked it. It was such a fun friendly environment that took the nerves she had away. While doing her exam the staff was very caring and talked to her about everything they were doing. As a parent I felt at ease for my daughter knowing they took such good care of and explained everything to not only her by myself as well. Will definitely be coming back!!

Amazing dentist and staff! I have a handicapped son who is quite involved, difficulty opening mouth, etc. The whole crew is absolutely spectacular and keeps his mouth in great shape! We travel almost an hour and a half each way for our visits, and I’d happily drive even further to get the superior level of dental care that I get from The Kid’s Dentist!

The office has no qualms about an emergency. I have no way to get there, my ride was in car accident and I said that I would provide proof. This office has the worst service and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The actual dentist visit was fine but once you have a rigid standpoint on an emergency and I said I will give you proof. There’s no workaround then you are horrible.

We were referred to The Kids Dentist because my 6yo needed quite a few fillings. From the moment we walked in, we were treated so well. The entire staff is helpful and extremely polite. Things were explained to me step by step, in extreme detail which I love.
My daughter was nervous about getting her fillings but Dr. Gomez did such an amazing job with her, she wants to switch to this office for all of her dental needs. Thank you all so much for making my princess so comfortable.

Cannot say enough good things about The Kids Dentist in Mequon. Fantastic practice all-around. We ended up being referred to them by our orthodontist to have some baby teeth pulled and a spacer put in for our 12 year old daughter, which could not be done by our regular dentist. So glad they couldn’t because I was so pleased with The Kids Dentist that I will be taking all 3 of my kids, aged 9-13 to them from now on as their primary dentist. They are AWESOME!
