Every new bike purchased from Rufus Cycles is expertly assembled in our store and comes with a full year of complimentary maintenance checks and adjustments. This includes bolt checks, brake and gear adjustments, and lubrication ($48.88 value every time you bring your bike in!). This service is designed to keep your bike in tip-top shape as well as offer you the opportunity to learn the best maintenance practices applied to your bike.

I just happened to be in Diamond Springs to get my ears lowered and had time to spare, so I walked down the street and saw a sign for RALEIGH bikes which I happen to have 2, and with an interest to part with one, I walk around the corner to see a massive truck! Military! Now, I gotta meet him. What an amazing experience.

I've known Rufus in the Bicycle industry for years. He is highly knowledgeable and a great mechanic. His newest shop is a great place to find great all you need. If you need repairs, he's the man. From one bike bike mechanic to another, he is highly respected by me. And I've run an service shop also. Glad to call him Comrade. You will not be disappointed.

In late July I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Rufus, the shop owner.
It was kind of funny, as I had driven up to the front of his store on Main St., Diamond Springs - across the street from the Fire Station; just to look at the many varieties of bikes he has outside on display.
Before too long a guy came out the front clearly heading toward my car. I recognized Mr. Rufus from the write ups in our local papers.
The papers covered a lot of info about him and the shop, but they couldn't possibly describe how outgoing, friendly, knowledgeable, and customer oriented that Mr. Rufus

Rufus is the best! I have bought new bikes from Rufus for many years, when he was an employee at Golden Spoke (GS) in Placerville. GS has retired their store, and Rufus now runs his fun little shop in Diamond Springs as his next step. That's great news for the West Slope, since so few bike shops exist "up the hill". Rufus provides great bike repair service a good selection of value parts. He has a small selection of Raleigh bikes and beautifully reconditioned bikes. Rufus's knowledge and experience is highly trusted by many. He has a great dog too, Snoopy who is always up for some LOVE.

My daughter's old bike needed a tune-up, was embarrassed by condition when I brought it in. Rufus treated it like a high end bike, he's no bike snob. He did a fantastic job, and took just a couple of days to have it back in working condition. I trust his workmanship, I feel reassured my daughter can ride her bike safely around town. His shop is awesome, it has bikes for just about anyone at any level. He is very knowledgable about the bike industry, trails and other tidbits, and cares about customer satisfaction. We have purchased two bikes from him before, and happy with his recommendation

Visited Rufus Cycles because I was told they sell used bikes. Needed a larger one for my 5yo daughter.
There is was; an absolutely beautiful, can't tell its used girls bike!
Owner added training wheels & a handlebar basket, adjusted everything to perfect fit and my little screamer was riding ALL OVER their huge parking lot! She be VERY Happy!
Took the toddler-sized bike in for partial trade! I be very happy!
I recommend patronizing this business.
