Services
Upon arrival at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW - Ft Myers, Fl), collect all your baggage on the lower level first. Only after collecting all your luggage, call Pine Island Taxi to have your vehicle quickly dispatched from the holding area to the terminal. You will be asked which of the six doors you will be exiting.
Book your reservations as soon as possible to ensure service on the dates and times you desire. Please confirm departure 24 hours in advance to eliminate time changes. When doing so, make sure you do it under the original reservation name. Cancellations 24 hour notice required or you will be charged.
Designed with your travel comfort in mind, the new Executive Vans are the first and only vans available with convenient center-isle seating which distinctly sets us apart from the competition in the rapidly growing chauffeured, pre-arranged transportation services. With our luxury van service, we are able to accommodate up to 10 or 11 passengers with luggage and 13 passengers without luggage.
If you will need to stop for groceries, we prefer that you fax your order to PUBLIX. They will shop your order for you, for a small fee (this is a great system- it works - time tested). In peak season February, March, and April fax orders ONLY! NO shopping. At the beginning of your fax order include the following.

I have to give a huge shout out to Dennis from Pine Island Taxi who completely saved the day for us when my daughter needed medical care while we were staying on North Cap. This was our first trip to the area and Dennis picked us up at the ferry in a spotless new vehicle and took all around Pine Island until my daughter got the care and medicine she needed. He went well beyond the call of duty and did so while being patient, kind and courteous. We also found Pine Island Taxi to have the best pricing and newest fleet. Will 100% recommend Pine Island Taxi and use them every time.

Pine Island Taxi is THE BEST airport transport in SW Florida. Dependable, professional, courteous, and they go WAY above & beyond to provide great customer service. John got up in the middle of the night to help us out after our flight was cancelled due to bad weather, to bring us back home. Hundreds of others were stranded at the airport because Uber and all other taxi services would not respond. Helping us out in a very difficult situation was priceless & we will never forget the kindness and responsiveness of Pine Island Taxi. Thank you, you guys are the greatest!

Just want to send a thank you to Dennis ,Tito and Fred for the warm welcoming from beginning to end. Transportation setup was so easy and everything fell right in place in a quickly manner from pickup from the Airport to drop off at the ferry.

If I could give negative stars I would. First of all, we had pre-arranged service with this company days in advance. As soon as our supposed driver shows up, a lady from the same company in a different vehicle hops out of a van and switches with the driver of the car we were getting in, yelling something about the people she was there to pick up wouldn't get in car with her. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but as she began driving she continued on a rant about why the people didn't like her and why they accused her of being "off." She was clearly "off"

My family (young children) and I were subjected to a terrible ride full of racist discussion from the owner/manager of Pine Island. He had many derogatory comments about people from other cultures and he imitated their accents in a manner to make fun of others. As an American Asian woman and mother, I was terribly upset and fearful that my children and myself were stuck in this vehicle at night listening to these horrible remarks. I was also upset knowing that any feedback would not result in any reprisals as this was the owner or one of the owners.

Recently tried out Pine Island Taxi and I was very pleased. The rates were reasonable for a trip to the airport from Cape Coral to Fort Myers, the car was clean and well kept and there were no issues with the driver whatsoever. He was actually a very good driver. I was impressed all around. Great first trip! Will use again.

Traveling with kids (6 and 2 years old) doesn't work with this service. Although they arrived on time, they didn't understand what a toddler seat forward facing, vs booster seat with back. Plus, none of their options (seats) were setup and after 15 min trying to figure out how to lock them down, I realized their van didn't have proper hooks or belts to setup correctly. $111 from Punta Gorda Airport to Pine Island where the ferry was. $106 on way back.

Great experience. They were on time and pleasantly transported my group from the airport to our ferry and back a week later. One driver was extremely chatty and needed a lot of attention and validation, but one was perfectly professional. I would use them again (maybe just sit farther away from the chatty life-story driver ;-).

Inbound to North Captiva Island, we used Superior to shuttle us from the airport to the marina...big mistake! For our outbound trip from marina to airport, we switched to Pine Island Taxi.....Fantastic ride! Vehicle was awesome! The driver "Roger" was a real character and made the trip entertaining. I highly recommend Pine Island Taxi if going to North Captiva Island !!!

Very disappointing experience with Pine Island Taxi today. I have used them for the past 10+ years for my vacation pickup. Today when I ask for a much shorter trip since I am traveling into the area the night before and using Uber that evening, they were no longer available to help us. I guess they were offended by the use of Uber. So I will not use Pine Island Taxi again.

March 2015 weather bad, planes late, ferry running late . Pine Island Taxi was there for me and my family. The reservationist who answered my call @ the airport and my driver were exceptional. The person on the other end of the phone called Publix to make sure my groceries were held and made sure the ferry knew we were on the way although my plane was late. I've never been treated like this before... Best customer service ever. Thanks Dave & Lisa for taking care of us.

My wife and I arrived an hour late at Fort Myers airport. It was 11pm and we were tired and cranky. We had an hour ride ahead of us to Pine Island. Our driver made us forget about our long day of a Planes, Trains and Automobiles-like travel.
He was pleasant and made the long ride fly by. I would definitely recommend this service.
