Great company to deal with from the time I called to reserve the ride until we were picked up and dropped off. The vehicle was clean and well equipped and the best part was our driver, Mike!!!!!! He was so awesome and went above and beyond through outstanding service. Seriously the best of the best!!!!!

My husband and I visited Sanibel Island recently and had a wonderful time, but being New Yorkers we don't drive. We called for a taxi to the airport the morning of our flight home and found that they seemed hard to come by, so we were about to panic. Heather, the owner of Sanibel Island Taxi, came to pick us up personally in the only car she had left on the lot- a stretch limo. The car was spotlessly clean, and Heather was not only on time, but a true joy to ride with. She really came through for us. Next time we will book car services in advance to ensure a ride, but highly recommend Heather and

I was very happy that they were able to pick me up exactly when I wanted. Our driver Dave was available to take us from our hotel to different locations on the island.
I was also very happy to know that they except credit cards. The other island taxi service was cash only.
Ana at dispatch was also very pleasant and helpful.
I would have given them 5 if the upholstery in the vehicle were a bit cleaner but overall they met my expectations and I would use them again.

We flew in to Fort Myers from Denver, CO and needed transportation to South Seas Resort. Sanibel Island Taxi was waiting for us when we landed and gave us a warm ''welcome" text with a instructions to coordinate a pickup after retrieving our luggage. We felt that Island Spirit as soon as we settled into our ride. Pleasant conversation, swaying palm trees and ocean scenery made the trip to our destination a mini-vacation in itself. On our return to Ft. Myers Airport, Heather coordinated her taxi's to allow us a memorable breakfast at the Sanibel Cafe before flying back

Excellent experience from beginning to end! From Heather taking my call and hooking me up with a professional driver and with Dave promptly arriving for us calling ahead to make certain that he connected with us at the right parking area of three at Sanibel Moorings. Proactive superb service. The ride to the airport was quick, pleasant and efficient in Dave's spacious and immaculately clean van!

Heather is one of the most genuinely caring people I've met! She went out of her way to provide a cool place for my wife and grandson to wait while a locksmith opened our rental vehicle up. We have used Heather and her crew several times in the week we have spent here. All of the drivers are extremely knowledgeable of the islands including history, where to eat and what to do with some great tourist tips! We highly recommend them for any travel services you need as she has the driver text you and verify your scheduled appointments and is always on time. Having the option to book an appointment through text was amazing!

My company hired Sanibel Island Taxi Company for our employees to utilize to get the the airport for our holiday retreat. Everybody was very impressed with the drivers courtesy and mannerisms. They knew the best routes to take when traffic was at a peak and also drove very cautiously avoiding all accidents. We felt very safe and taken care of.

Dave was the best, ,most accommodating, friendly safe and efficient driver I have ever experienced. He picked us up from the airport after traveling all day and it was by far the most relaxing part of our day. The car was so comfortable, and it felt as though family was picking us up rather than a car service. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking to travel in the Fort Myers area.

Great service! My flight was 3 hours late due to weather and arrived in Ft. Myers at 4:30 am. I had never used Sanibel Island Taxi before and I was a little worried that our driver might not be there, but there was no need to worry our driver was waiting at baggage claim as promised and with a smile on his face. The car I booked was exactly as described on their website. From start to finish they delivered 5 star service. I highly recommend Sanibel Island Taxi & Transportation Services and will use them on future trips to Fort Myers, FL.

I reserved for a 4:15am pickup to go to the airport. No one ever showed up! I called and found out their office didn't open until 7. I had to wake up my neighbors and barely made it to the airport in time to catch my flight. I wouldn't recommend thus company to anyone and will never use them again.

I had a great experience today with Sanibel Island Taxi. Couldn't have asked for better service for my airport pick up. They confirmed my ride the day before and called me as soon as my flight landed saying they were waiting in the cellphone lot. Dave was a great driver. He was professional and friendly. I will definitely use them again.

I'm not one to write many reviews, so believe me when I say Sanibel Taxi is wonderful. The cars are clean, timely, and comfortable. My wife and I had Guy for most of our rides and he showed us such kindness and charm. We loved talking to him and when we return to Sanibel, we'll be hitting up Sanibel Taxi in hopes of seeing him again.

Can't say enough about the service, Guy was our driver both times we used sanibel Island Taxi and he was great every time. Personable and friendly and got us to our destinations promptly. The rates are the cheapest we could find on the island as well. We will definitely be using Sanibel Island Taxi for our returning trips to the island.

We arrived at the airport and got a text message from Sanibel that said "call us." Although we made the reservation weeks in advance they said they were sorry but they couldn't pick us up. The man was very apologetic and referred us to a different taxi. He bizarrely said he would give us a complimentary round trip if we went to the office. We did a day later it was closed. We will be taking Uber on the way home.

Absolutely awesome service. When our car broke down this weekend not only did they try to arrange our ride home the owners wife PERSONALLY came with her private vehicle to try to jump start our car.
Ultimately we didn't need their service but their kindness and attention and personal car were above and beyond in kindness!

Poor customer service. Unprofessional. Long hold times on the phone. Put me on hold and then never came back. Some of this was experienced while making the reservation; the rest was experienced when calling back to complain about my ride.
The car I reserved showed up. I specifically told the person with whom I made the reservation that we had 5 people plus luggage and we were heading to the airport. Sanibel taxi picked us up for dinner in a van whose doors would not open easily. We were a group of nine women and he drove us 4 miles to dinner. The slurring Sanibel taxi van driver said the fare was 70 dollars! Really?? He showed us a slip of paper with 70 dollars from the office.
After a mutiny he said he would not charge us at all and we would take care of payment on the ride home after the BiG Arts theater production. Well the Sanibel Taxi driver never showed up after the show. It was 10 PM. The theater closed. We were on the front porch.

The driver could not have been nicer but the scheduling from the office is very unprofessional. When you call for a taxi at 5:00 in the am to make a flight the last thing you want to do is pick up another passenger that has a 5:30 pickup time. We ordered a taxi not a shuttle. It was not anyone in the cars fault but unfortunate. At the very least, I would expect the office to tell you that you really would not leave the island until 5:45 and give you the choice.

$50 from the island, across the bridge, and to the Marriott. I then took an Uber to the airport and it cost $28. How the hell can a 15 minute taxi cost $50? Ridiculous.
To be clear, this review is about more than the price. We waited around an hour for a taxi to arrive. When he did, he told us he had such poor eyesight he couldn't drive at night. He was also hard of hearing.
Terrible service for high prices. This company is exactly why companies like Uber and Lyft exist.

The worst ever. At first they seems so nice, they said they would take my dogs with me. I thought everything was great.
I got in the van, the man w very nice. I asked him if it was per mile and he replied that the office told him my 12 mile ride would be 50 dollars!
I called the office and the lady at the office told me she decided it should be that much. I thought that maybe she thought I was going to a different place. When I expressed concern that there may be a problem she yelled at me to get out. Then she yelled on the radio to let me out.
