I was born in Portland and grew up in Hillsdale and Sherwood. I attended school at Eastern Oregon State College and following graduation, immediately entered the College of Veterinary Medicine at OSU, where I met my wife, Debbie. I graduated from vet school in 1992. After spending time out of state, Dr. Debbie and I were happy to return to Oregon.
We have been taking our cat, Edgar, here for his whole three years with us, and we are always impressed. Edgar means the world to us and when we take him to the this clinic, they treat him the same way. Whether it is a routine check-up (they send great email and mail reminders) or an emergency (they saw us just 20 minutes after I called one Saturday morning), we always feel like our whole family is treated great at the Animal Care Clinic.
Cat Boarding or Kitten Boarding while you're away? Based in Wilsonville, Animal Care Clinic also serves Beaverton, Lake Oswego, Tualatin and the Portland Metro area. Their cat boarding staff provide the best in cat care: Lots of love and personal attention daily plus luxury cat condos and an exercise area right in their own veterinary clinic!

Compassionate staff!
We've been taking our pets to Animal Care Clinic for almost 10 years. The care and attention to detail is amazing. The doctors and office staff are very knowledgeable and well coordinated. They never push unnecessary medications or procedures which makes it feel collaborative with only our pets well being in mind.
We've moved out of the area and have had to find another vet closer to home. We will miss taking our beloved pets to Animal Care Clinic. Thank you for all you do!
If your looking for a new vet, look no further.

I no longer live in Wilsonville, but was very moved by the care they provided my now-departed cats. They went above and beyond with compassion when my second kitty died in a different pet hospital and someone drove to the hospital to get the paw print taken for my keepsake, to match the one her sister had when she passed. Can't say enough!

Took our dog in for surgery. Vet said hardest spay he has done in 20 years . Said he had to do a 7 inch incision and we needed to start her on antibiotics to avoid infection and potential complications. Gave us horse pills to give her. Couldn't get her take the pills that night. Tried multiple times. Called clinic first thing next morning and they said they would give message immediately to Vet to get back with us. He NEVER called back!! Fortunately my husband came up with a way to get her to take the antibiotic. When I called the clinic later that afternoon they said the vets couldn&apos

Exceptional! I feel so good about bringing my cat Pepper here because they take such good care of him. Pepper has been a patient of theirs for 13 years and this year he had to have surgery to remove a mass and Dr. Susanna did an incredible job. Three weeks later and he has fully recovered! Everyone at this clinic has been super helpful during his recovery. You can tell that this is more than just a business or a job to them, they love what they do and it shows!

We started bringing our 14-yr old retriever cross, Kaylah, here almost weekly since around August 2020. Early last year, we thought we were nearing the end with our sweet, loving gal as her arthritis pain was causing her to groan all the time and trip on walks. We of course started her on some pain meds, but had heard from other folks with older pups about alternative therapies. After some research, we decided to try water treadmill therapy in combination with her pain meds. Despite living in Portland, we chose Animal Care Clinic in Wilsonville because the price was much more affordable than anything

I truly cannot say enough about Animal Care Clinic. My beloved dog, Dodge, was a bit of a mess when it came to health issues. He was a Pitbull with horrible chronic ear infections, skin infections, and constantly had some sort of other rotating issue or concern- which only became more regular as he aged. We began taking him to ACC in 2018 after moving to the area from Salem and at this point, he was already a senior at 9 years old. They treated him in increasing regularity as he aged to the point that we were "regulars". The folks at the front desk knew him well and were always so exciting and

So happy we found this clinic! Our 2 dogs have been seen multiple times in the last year and have received great care. We were able to get in for emergencies on short notice twice in the last month. It has been a really rough year and the staff here have handled it well. They are organized, patient, and kind! Thank you for caring!

My family has used the animal care clinic for years. They are always so polite, kind, and respectful. We have had to say goodbye to some of our animals here, it's always hard, but they are so respectful and offer the sweetest momentum's of your beloved furry friends. They provide amazing care, and genuinely love all of their patients

If you care about your pet(s), take him/her/them somewhere else.
Where to start.... The front desk staff (before COVID when interactions with them were face-to-face) was repeatedly cold, curt, and condescending when we went in with our pets. We've stood waiting to be checked-in (again, before COVID) for 20 minutes with no one in front of us, calls taking priority. Then when I was finally addressed, I got all sorts of attitude for existing.
The membership: unless your pet is on death's door/has a chronic condition where you're expecting to see the vet more than 12 visits/year

The staff at Animal Care Clinic are friendly and efficient. My kitties are always seen promptly and get their needs taken care of with little stress. One of my cats has gastrointestinal issues that have been a challenge to deal with over the years. After years of trying many remedies with other providers the staff at ACC found a winning combination of meds and food that has changed her life.

Very heartless, usually the front desk is super sweet but not today. They never mentioned to my family and I that we needed an exam to continue on with the flea medicine. We have been getting it here for 1 and a half years. They could of told us the last time we were in to prepare or let us know the next time we would need one. Just refused to help out 2 dogs. My dog is very sensitive to to medications this one seems to work well for him they say go somewhere else. I do not recommend them at ALL.

My pup had her laparoscopic spay on 3/11 and it was definitely worth the drive from Camas, WA! Dr. Brent called after the procedure himself to say all went well. The procedure itself was faster and the two very small incisions healed fast and one would never know she had the surgery two days later except for the comfy cone which thankfully slowed her down the first four. She was than able to resume normal activity instead of seven + for a normal spay procedure. The one pain pill a day was spot on and nine days later only one incision is still viable with no raised scaring. The entire team was very

We have been using Animal Care Clinic for our veterinary needs since we moved to Wilsonville in 2016. The staff is very friendly and organized, there is never a long wait and the appointments always run on time. They have great hours including evening and Saturday's which make it convenient for people who work during the day. The price is definitely reasonable for the services.

I hate the say this, but Animal Care Clinic isn't the best veterinarian clinic in Wilsonville...they are the BEST veterinary clinic in Oregon. No joke. If you live in Gresham, bring your pet here. If you live in Baker City, bring your pet here. If you live in Wilsonville, you should be ashamed if you don't bring your pet here. Best. Care. Ever. Amazing staff! Royal care for my dog!

Overall: I love this place and I love the people who work there!! They take excellent care of the human and the dog (I'm sure other animals too but, I only have a dog).
When I first moved to Wilsonville (Jan 2012) I went here and I wish I had stayed. I moved to Banfield at the urging of a friend and have returned to Animal Care clinic this year and I could not be happier with how they treat my dog, Lilly, and me.
I started working with Dr. Jessica when I originally went in 2012 and when I returned this year. Then when I started water treadmill I have been working a lot with Dr Debbie and
