We are on a road trip with our Airstream across the USA and stopping at bakeries in pretty much every town/city we stay. We loved Breadbar. I just keep thinking good thing I don't live here. I would eat their ham and cheese croissants every day. The plain croissant is so flakey and perfect. Warm it, a little butter OMG and the almond too! We also loved the sourdough baguette. We are baguette lovers all the way to France and this bread is pretty close to Those that we had in France .

I've been ordering breadbar online for a couple years now and they still never fail to disappoint. I'm picky when it comes to pastries and the kouign amman are the best I've ever had. Chocolate and almond croissants and apple turnovers are also super good.

Had a family member do an online order with breadbar for a first birthday party celebration. Best experience ever!
The staff carefully packed the large order and sent it with decorations, a gift, and even a card!!! We felt the love and cannot believe the thoughtfulness from Breadbar and the staff.
The delivery was also great. Order came in less than two days and was extremely well packaged. The bread is very fresh.

I was so excited to find this bakery that sounded so amazing. I put in a small order for sourdough bread and pastries. We paid for local delivery since they are only a few miles from our home. It has been three days now without a single word from the bakery. I don't know where our order is, or if it is even being filled. We are leaving the city tomorrow (four days after our order) for a week to help out family dealing with Covid, so at this point I think we threw our money away.

Was very excited to try this bakery, but I live in OC, so I opted for delivery. Got a sourdough Pullman and the canelles. Unfortunately, the order I put in at 10pm on a Wednesday didn't arrive until Monday after 3 days of shipping and everything was stale.
I contacted their customer service and they were very quick to respond and kindly offered refund my shipping cost and redo the order. Unfortunately I never received shipping information for the order and just lost hope.

I buy their breads at a farmers market and they sell the BEST sourdough I’ve ever taste.
Is so hard to find a good quality and tasty bread anywhere these days. Most store bought breads are so blend with no taste at all. Thank you for taking the time and care to craft a perfect bread with natural fermentation instead of the quick rise yeast which most bakers use which taste so blend and is so harmful to our guts health.

I actually stumbled upon this gem in El Segundo among the local businesses. They make and sell a large variety of breads, danishes, and pastries in their small parking lot in front of their wholesale warehouse. Everything is fresh and prepackaged in cellophane bags or pastry boxes. Get there early because they frequently sell out, especially their gluten free breads.

We sampled several items from Breadbar and delivered by breadbox.la . The Kalamata Olive loaf was hearty and delicious. I'm craving it right now. The cannelé were amazing and were great with morning coffee or as a desert. The wall street fanciers are a sweet and tasty bite for a quick treat. Definitely recommend!

I drove here because they sell gluten free breads and being that I can't eat bread because I have celiacs disease. 40 minute drive for me .
We drove the distance. At a whopping $18 + per loaf it is above our budget but I can see as a treat it is worth it.
Wish it was more affordable as I would definitely stock up.
The quality was great and I love the concept.

I ordered Croissants, olive bread, baguettes and a bread box assortment. Everything tasted amazing! I especially recommend the bread box because it allows you to sample several of their goodies. Best of all, even though I live in San Diego, they delivered everything fresh to me! Customer service was also great. I was missing something and they made sure I received it right away. Will definitely order again.

I'm sorry to give them a bad review, because I love artisan breads and pastries. However, their employees at my farmer's markets are not friendly. Further, they told me the muffin was one flavor and it turned out to be a different flavor. Fine, mistakes happen. The customer service is poor. The guy told me he can't cut a loaf of bread to give me a half, later found out that was not true. Then, when he sold me half a loaf he already had cut, it was stale. I'm going to pass on this. 5 bucks for half a loaf of stale bread is not worth it.

These guys make some pretty good breads. I picked up a few butter croissants from them at the Little Italy Mercado on Sunday. They frequent to market.
The croissants were quite good, even at room temperature. I ate them on the spot as I was walking around the Farmer's Market. They had a good flaky crust and buttery soft center. They tasted very good too.
The young man running the stand was friendly enough. He was a little grumpy at first because he was not ready, but when I returned about 20 minutes later he was ready to roll and in better spirits.

After seeing the owner's post on FB, I stopped by in the morning. It was 8:15am and the front door was locked, nobody answered the call, I walked to the side and saw a cook talking on the phone. I checked the business hours again and asked the cooking he worked for the place. He reluctantly said yes but said the opening time as 9am.... Not a good first impression: the front door was darkly tinted with no business hours, side receiving entrance was dirty, unreliable hours - I don't think I can trust the quality of its breads...
