Probably the nicest places in Athens aside of newly constructed.
Property is kept up great, the staff is unbeatable. 😊 Probably my only draw backs are the kitchens are not meant for people who do any serious cooking. Not their fault. All older properties in Athens were built with students in mind, not an Italian mom who cooks for an army. Ha! Not sure about other units, but there is very limited storage space in his. I have lived in the community for 2 years. The management DOES NOT CARE AT ALL!
There was vomit in the hall breezeway and I went by the office to notify management ……that was a waste of time.The assistant lied and said she was coming to have a look. FOUR DAYS LATER THE VOMIT IS STILL IN THE HALL. Disgusting ……biohazard!
They need serious training in their management. For the price we should not have to look at vomit, grass note being cut and gets so high the small dogs don’t want to go in it. Trash lays around for days.

I hope the management see my comment. I want to thank them for being nice and friendly. This was my first apartment in Athens and I lived here until I moved from the state. It is a quite and clean place. Also, the maintenance team respond to the claim very fast and in professional way. I strongly recommend it.

I visited Athens in Sept of 2018 in search of apt options. Then called, Timothy Wood Apts. I loved everything & I moved in Nov. 2018.
My first 6 mos I was very pleased, safe, secure and felt right at home. It was a perfect 2bd 2ba for me and guest that I named my Pamper Palace. I had no plans of moving out no sooner than 3 years. With rent at the time $950 after 10mos increased to 1049 under new owners ECI. So I decorated and made my self at home. (Below I share pics)

I would 110% NEVER recommend living here. I lived here for about 4 years. When I first moved in it was not owned by ECI. The people that used to work in the front were so sweet and understanding and very personable. Once new management took over the complex in a while really began to go down. The people on the front office never answered their phones, you couldn’t get anyone to tell you what was going on ever. They took over at the beginning of spring and decided it would be a good idea to completely shut down the pool for maintenance.... in the middle of spring. They have a 3 day notice before

While I did not move into The Columns at Timothy Woods due to having to be closer to my job's office I have to pay a compliment to the staff especially Layne Piedmont. Layne was super nice and helpful and kept an open line of communication at all times. Thanks for all your help Layne!

Residents received a notice concerning renovations that were going to be done “during business hours.” Not true...6:30, 7:30 last week, 9:00 last night. No consideration for their residents.

I have lived here for almost 5 years. I'm impressed with the new company and they answer the phone. I'm looking forward to the new updates and I'm happy to say that our maintenance man is friendly and is always there to help fix any problem that happens.

I recently moved into Timothy Woods back in December of 2018. So far everything has been great. I love the apartment itself and the complex is nice because it’s quiet while still in a great location. Everything you need is only minutes away. I would recommend living here.

I lived here for 3 years, and the price was competitive compared to those in Connecticut. In order to get the amenities offered at Timothy Woods in CT, you would have to pay at least double the price they are charging.
Management was always agreeable, the only slight problem I had with pests was with silverfish and that was not bad.
The pool is amazing, and I never had anything stolen.
I lived here while attending UGA, and I couldn't ask for more.

Thus far, Timothy Woods is the best place I have ever lived.I am not downplaying any of the previous complaints by previous tenants. All I am saying is that my experience has been superb. The apartments are well maintained and I have not once witnessed a single insect or the like in my apartment. Kudos to the operating staff for keeping these apartments up to date.

Overall I would not recommend Timothy Woods, but I would say that many of the other reviews here on google seem a bit exaggerated.
I will make a pro/con list.
Pros: Safe gated community, maintenance is always on site to fix problems, well manicured grounds, people keep to themselves and it's pretty quiet unless you have noisy people living above you. Pet friendly and the pool is very nice. Apartments are as decent size and there is generally plenty of parking.
Cons: The major con is the price. The apartments are way too expensive for what you get. Also some members of the office staff are very
