I have ADHD. I was diagnosed about a year after I graduated from medical school. At first I thought to myself that if I had gotten through medical school without knowing I had ADHD, why would I need treatment? Then I learned about how ADHD impacts All aspects of your life, and outside of being a good student, my life was kind of a mess.
Anxiety is a general feeling of worry, unease, or nervousness regarding an imminent event or something with an outcome that's uncertain. It's a normal response to simple tasks that can require more effort. From work stressors to relationship responsibilities, occasional anxiety is a normal part of life.
QbTest is a computer-based program that combines a test of attention ability with a movement analysis based on an infrared measurement system. Test results are assembled into a report and compared with data from a control group consisting of people who are the same sex and age as yourself. This way you can see how you react when you concentrate on a task in comparison with people who do not have ADHD.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) stimulates your brain non-invasively using magnetic pulses. TMS Therapy is a non-invasive treatment based on repetitive stimulation which delivers magnetic pulses to activate nerve cells in the part of the brain controlling mood, which is often underactive in patients with depression.
Initial screening happens once the patient is referred to us or contacts us to seek treatment. There will be an initial phone call to review the referral, for those seeking treatment this would be the initial call. During this step if a patient is referred to us by the provider, we will fax that provider that the referral has been received.
